Got fired today, Maybe i could get an opinion on if this is bull shit or im just a pussy.

I work at Menards (if your down south its the same as lowes/home depot). The manager asks me to fill the salt racks, which is 40,50, and 80 lb bags of water softner salt. I go to bring the skids of salt bags up front and the electric pallet jack is broken. So i tell my boss that ill need help pushing the skids up to the front (30-40 bags are on a skid). He gets shitty and tells me everyone else can do it. I weigh 130lbs and prolly cant bench my own weight, so i say cool have everyone else do it, and walk outside to do other work. He comes out a few minutes later with a closing to do list with like 10 things and says if i dont get this all done before i leave dont worry about ever coming back. While hes walking away i ask why hes bein shitty with me and he says get it done or leave so i say fuck it, rip up the paper. I thought "fuck it" was translated as i quit, but i guess i got fired for insubordination for ripping up the paper.

Since its my birthday i just feel like givin a stake away so 11$ for the 200k tomorrow on stars (50/50 no stakeback) umm fuck i dont know ..... guess my favorite baseball team

sucks about your job man, your boss was being a dick at first by asking you to do something that could have caused injury and put you out of work on work comp. His bosses would have come down hard on him if you had handled it better. As is you handled it poorly but oh wells.

And tough luck as far as losing your job. If I were you I would NOT put down that I was fired on any job applications. Of course if they call Menard's they're going to get a different story, so you might just be honest and tell your perspective employer exactly what went down.

Since you asked, you're being a big fucking pussy. The working world doesn't work like this... you can't just fire off whatever you want to people above you without thinking of the consequences.

Oh, you're boss is a power tripper? A lot of people deal with this and still get paid. Either quit on your own terms and find a new job you like or put up with what you have.

Had you taken like, I don't know, 1 milli second to assess the situation, instead of being a complete dick to your boss you could have explained that you can't do it yourself and need some help, instead of saying some snippy remark.

You need to learn some life/social skills I think or you will run into this again and again.

I had a boss at target that gave people shit but they always showed attitude when he asked them to do something. Whenever he asked me to do anything, I did it no question because he's the boss. For the most part he didn't bother me because I didn't give him any shit.
