The reviews and the specs look pretty damn good for the $199 price tag but I was just curious if anyone in OT owned one or had any experiences good and bad using them. I'm going to be going to a ton of concerts/festivals this year and I thought it would be cool if I could capture a few of the best sets with an HD camera that 1. I could get into a venue and 2. Wouldnt break the bank. Gracias

I used one when they first came out and I wasn't too impressed. It was nice due to how easy and handheld it was, but I didn't like the actual screen, zoom capabilities and quaility. This was first generation though and I heard they are 100 times better now.

No combination of words I could write would truly express my complete feeling about flips, which is overwhelmingly positive. My concern would be the fact that it seems like mine records about 2 hours before it's full, which may be less than what you're looking for.

I just watched some videos posted on youtube that were filmed with the Ultra HD and Im sold. The quality is way better than I expected and I can make due with 2 hours of recording time.

I have one, will post some videos from Phish Blossom and Hershey early next week. I like it for the price, it has some design flaws. One of my biggest complaints is the long charging time, and if you charge it in a labtop, it's hard to check the status cause the screen faces down. It is easy to use, the software it comes with is really basic for editing.

I bought one for my wife for her birthday at her request. It is a fantastic camera I was really surprised by how good the video is Def recommend
