    @OP Both of those things seem truly horrible.

    My gf's parents are ridiculously non-adventurous eaters (orange chicken from Panda Express is about as "exotic" as they'll eat) so when we started dating there was a lot of stuff I had to work with my gf to get her to like. I've broken through on nearly everything, but for some reason she thinks mussels, clams, and oysters are all utterly disgusting and refuses to touch them.

    I don't really eat anything too weird or outlandish but I am a whore for parmesan cheese. I'll dump it on until the pasta or pizza is more white than anything else. And then I'll rail what's left off the plate when I'm done eating. Hell, as a kid I'd just fill a bowl with parmesan and eat it with a spoon. People are often disgusted by this.

    i love kishka - haven't had it for years.

    also love kasha (buckwheat cooked like rice) - my wife makes it for me but nobody else in the house will eat it

    Pineapple on pizza is just one of those things that I can't stand, but plenty of people love

    some people just think seafood of that nature (clams, mussels, oysters, etc) is fuckin nasty and honestly I can't blame them. I used to eat oysters but nowadays I doubt I would. I mean it's a fucking mucus slug from the ocean I don't care what it tastes like with a lil hot sauce and some crackers, it's still a mucus slug.     I fuckin love this. We have a diner near us that makes the best homemade corned beef hash - it's a been a family owned place for 50 years. They make it fresh daily - not sure what special ingredients they use (if any), but I could eat it all day.
