  1. I got an offer to deposit 100 on sportsbetting.com and i get another 100 as an instant bonus....

I was wondering if theres any good long term bets to make. I stopped betting on sports cause I hate the fckin swings and all the BS that happens, ya i suck is what im saying. However I dont want to pass up the 100 free bet that only costs me 100. I wanted to bet purdue to win the NCAA bball championship but the odds arent up yet. Is there anything good out there offering good odds that i can bet for futures?

  2. If you think there is any chance on god's green earth that Purdue will win the NCAA championship then you should burn the $100 for fun.
  3. I think I see why you suck at sports betting...
  4. why?

  5. bet on Chris Johnson winning the rushing title.

An intriguing long shot wager with great odds is Rashard Mendenhall

  6. you should give the $100 bucks to a homeless person and tell them to go to a bank and start a savings account. seems to me that you'd be putting more use to your money then betting on purdue to even reach the final 4 imo

Do not bet on CJ winning the rushing title, he broke too many long runs last year that accounted for the title.

I do like the Mendenhall odds, if he stays healthy.
  10. the WHY was for the people commenting on my ''dumb'' purdue bet with no reasoning behind it. I wanna know why thats a dumb bet. They got to the sweet 16 without their best player. Their center Johnson put on 15 pounds and is getting NBA ready. They have 3 elite seniors with their last shot of winning it. Im not a purdue fan personally but i think they are best prepared to win the title. They are the 2nd odds on fav to win it too.

im going to start by saying i dont follow NCAA baskeball too closely until the tournament starts, but with that being said. purdue is a great program, but they are not consistently a top 5 program year in-year out. UNC is gonna get much better, and i think DUKE is gonna ship the entire thing (but im sure the odds arent great on them) it takes a very experienced team to win the whole tourney, there is just too many variables and i just dont think (talent aside) they have the components to win the whole thing. while i dont doubt that they will have a strong season and get a good seed, i just dont see it happening. they will have more pressure on them then they have had their entire careers, and they have really havent had to deal with having a "bullseye" on their backs (forgive me if im wrong).

cliff-notes: they may very well be the best team with the best betting odds to go with, but i still think youre wasting a bet.
  12. Here is a very solid bet IMO.....

    Boise St+1000

Boise St to win the BCS. They are ranked pre-season top 2-3 in polls so for them to go down they would have to lose. That doesnt look like it will happen, they only have one hard game against VTECH and if they make it passed that they are in the national champ game.

Than you can hedge if you want.

this is the best one ive heard. those boys dont know how to lose
  14. Can you wager on Justin Morneau missing 40 more games after getting injured changing his tampon?

Purdue seems like a bad idea. Boise, not so much. It's so sick that you have to win like 23 games in a row to get to the BCS title game if you aren't in the old boys' club.
  15. Boston to win the NBA championship? Same team as last year, and they've pretty much said this is there last chance at it. Rondo should be better, pierce will still put up decent numbers, KG if he can stay healthy is still a solid PF, and ray allen is still a good player. Big Baby and Shaq can bang, and perkins is a fairly solid center. The bench is decent, but definitely better than Miami's. If the lakers have a starter or two go down with injury(which is almost a guarentee with bynum) the celtics have a chance. I personally would bet miami, but if your looking to win some $$ on a free bet I think Boston is a much better bet than Orlando, and they are getting about the same odds. If your looking to do something really risky(but less retarded than betting purdue lol) OKC could easily(not easily, but they are a top team in the west imo) win the west, and if miami gets through, they can almost match there athleticisim and could luck 4 out of 7 against them. I think OKC would be a favorite against Boston. Not the odds on favorite, but there athleticism would kill the celtics. You can get around +1500 on OKC right now which is a steal because they are the only other western conference team other than the lakers that has a chance to win it all. (Sorry san antonio and dallas, but just no)

Well coached team with plenty of talent, and a schedule that doesn't kick their ass all year? Um, yeah, I think Boise State +1000 wouldn't be bad to at least throw $100 at.
  17. I follow college basketball closely... they got Moore, Johnson and Hummel coming back. This is not a terrible bet tbh

Well im glad someone finally knows what im talkin about!! :)

The Boise st one is a good bet too. I was looking at that also. Maybe ill just degen it up and bet 200 on each of those bets. Only thing with the Boise bet is if they make the title game they are gonna be underdogs so hedging the bet means betting more cause the juice will be so high. Even if they make it i dont see them beating a team like alabama or osu.

And that's why I don't think they should ever be in a BCS Championship game.

When Virginia Tech is your toughest game of the season, you don't deserve a chance at a National Championship. What the fuck has Virginia Tech ever won that screams beating them is a quality win for your Top Ranked team?

Come back to the party when you've joined a power conference. Let's see Boise St. go 12-0 in the SEC, Big 12 or hell, even the weak ass Big 10.

    GTFO with Boise St.

agree. also, this assumes that Bama or OSU loses a game or two. And just because they'll start ranked #3 or 4, doesn't mean a stronger team(nebraska, Iowa, Florida, Texas maybe) will jump them after some solid wins. The BCS should not be rewarding weak schedules from weak conferences. I'd fully support a 1 loss big 10 or SEC team ahead of undefeated Boise. And don't kid yourself and think that Boise would survive 3 playoff games or something.
  21. I hate the Boise State bet, mostly because it is going to be so hard for them to make the BCS championship game. Any team that finishes with 1 loss from a BCS conference will go ahead of them, that is just the way the system is set up right now.
  22. Noel Devine

    12/1

    To win the Heisman.

  23. as much as i hate to say this as a rays fan....yankees to win the world series?
