    This is my rant. This is a guy who has never once been linked to Balco or anything.. And im sure everyone expected to see his name on the Mitchell Report.. Well. I dont see it do you? So if Bob Costas and all these holier than thou sports writers want to say that there should asteriks and what not on Barry Bonds home run records. Then the real true single season Home Run Champion is Slammin Sammy Sosa... Ship him and his 60+ homers to the Hall of Fame Immed!!!!!!

    The list today was not nearly all-inclusive. It's naive to think that people NOT on the list are automatically exempt.

    no doubt there will be more and that doesn't mean everyone will get caught. If I was worth millions playing a sports I would hire someone to obtain all my juice.. make run to Mexico when needed. Stupid idiots had to know at sometime someone would talk.

    Yes I am serious. No im not a Cubs Fan. Im a Red Sox fan.. Listen.. First of all I could care less who takes steriods HGH ADD OPP TNT.. Whatever. Seems by the list that there were equal number of pitchers and players doing it.. My opinion has always been you just can shoot roids up your ass and bang. Your instantly a bigger stronger man or a better hitter.. You still have to lift the weights work out. And most importantly you have to hit the ball.. I still to this day dont see how this makes you a better player. Look at the list ZOMG Marvin Bernard .. FP Santangelo (LOL) Hal Morris.. Mark Carreon, Jason Grimsley Randy Velarde. JOsias Manzanillo... Yes there are a few big names. But also just as many borderline Major Leaguers as well.

    I love how the Cub fans immed turned on Sammy. He was the only thing that kept that park alive for years.. (Him sprinting out in the top of the 1st getting the crowd all worked up cmon now) I know the corked bat thing was bad. I remember when it happened and he gave his lame excuse about it being a batting practice bat or something.. Of course they did check every other bat of this including ones in the Hall of Fame and found nothing wrong with them.. So I guess you have to give him the benefit of the doubt there.. And he has never once been linked with Balco. Mcgwire anything. He just happened to hit 60 Homers three years in row.. Free Sammy! No Hablo Ingles!!! Beisbol been berry good to me...

    Maybe steroids turned average minor leaguers into average major leaguers and thats why you see some average names.

    a few points

    1 - to the OP please smoke less crack. I like Sammy I like Barry I like Big Mac. They are all cheaters. But if the pitchers are on roids and the batters as well its kind of an even playing field

    2 - You would have to be naive to believe todays list was an all inclusive list of steroid users. this list was compiled of people who either had their names dropped by inside sources and most had copies of checks they spent on the roids.

    3 - I think mitchel said there has been a problem with steroids all the way back to 1990. One espn analyst said there have been over 5,000 players since that time and 80 outed for roids is nothing.

    Bottom line is there are a shit load of people who didnt have their trainers or clubhouse managers not rat them out and many others who were probably smart enough to either A) not write a personal check for their roids B) not have them shipped to their teams clubhouse
