A friend should never let a friend dreive drunk

    So tonight my best friend and his flavor of the week came over for drinks with me and my fiance. We had shots of vodka and also some vodka Cranberries ( yes I know its bitchmade but we are not big drinkers) Any ways my friends girl comes over and by the time she gets here, he is about 10 shots deep and obv drunk. I mean not wasted, but def not able to drive. I offer to let him drive with his girl who is not drink at all and In the morning I will come get him from his girls house with his car since I have nothing to do tomorrow. He gets very mad at me and seriously causes a big scene. I try to understand why he is mad and all and do my best to understand why he is upset.
    (ie physicallly violent trying to seriously fight.) we have never been in an argument at all and this whole situation is totally foerign to me but I do not want to lose him as a a best friend. What can I do? Thanks in advance?

    wierd spot, obv the thing to do is to tell him not to drive drunk, but at the end of the day, people have to make their own decisions, if you guys are like 16 then yeah, step in and make it happen, but adults gotta make their own decisions

    when i used to be a real degen, i was blasted drunk at a friends house, someone took my keys, and i was literally going to swing on some good friends of mine to get them back, i was spitting, breaking shit, shoving, very ugly, i had just puked and then slammed a glass of jack

    they finally say ok fuck you and throw the keys at me... i get a mile down the road and pass out driving, the tire tracks suggest that i missed a telephone pole going like 40 or so and then ramped off into a field, where i drove for about a quarter mile efore waking up very confused, i got my car outa the field and drove the rest of the way home that night, no DUI or injury to myself or others... but ... fuck not sure how to end this, i've apologized a million times to those friends, and am sober at this point in my life, let alone not driving drunk

    Oh believer me she is wqorth the ati. oi am am two drunk but wil post pics inthe morining.. It is 1:1 am her right now but give me 9 hours tpo s;eep.. and I wil post some good ones.. woo hooo

    In real life, drunk people type normally.

    Anyways, as far as the whole he's an adult so it's his decisions stuff, I can't agree with that. If someone is mildly tipy or something, then meh whatever, but if he's actually drunk, then it's not like you can just say oh well he can live with the consequences of a dui if he wants to risk it, cuz at that point a lot more is on the line than a dui, like people's lives. And if those other people on the road aren't conspiracy theorists, who believe that the hudson river plane crash landing was a conspiracy, then it is not so nice to let someone put THEIR lives on the line. Then again, 1/3rd of them probably ARE retarded conspiracy theorists so... fuck it.. GAMBOOOOLLLOLOL!!!!!
