    Thank you Nate Marquardt! I missed the card last night because I was out (brag), and still didn't get to see it, but I know who won and whatnot, and Sherdog has given some gifs and stuff of what happened...and holy fucking jesus christ monkeyballs! Did anyone else see this combo thrown by Nate Marquardt? For those that missed it:





    Two different kinda sorta angles, and obv two different quality gifs there, but holy gawd damn! That is fucking impressive! I've done TKD for 9 years, earned my black belt, and I can't tell you how many times I've fucked up and fell while practicing high kicks, spin kicks, roundhouse kicks etc...they require incredible amounts of coordination and balance. And for Nate to pull this off, at all! Nevermind in the 3rd round of a grueling fight, is ridiculous!

    There are only two people, I believe, that could even hope to pull off something like this. Georges St. Pierre and Anderson Silva. I think even Anderson Silva was impressed by this shit...I can't even begin to say how blown away I am, this was just fucking amazing! GG Wilson Gouveia (sp?)

    LOL! Everyone at Sherdog is likening this to a Mortal Kombat or some other video game like combo. It's sfsick..

    Yeah, saw this last night and was very impressed. Such a sick and brutal combo. Gouveia is a tough sob too, he took some shots at the end of the 2nd and hung in there but their was no way he could survive this. I still think Silva is too quick for Marquandt but I'd love to see that fight.

    Just finished watching the fight and....WOW!

    IMO, in the MW division, it's Silva > Marquardt (though, I can't say for sure that Nate would lose that fight...)> then everyone else...just WOW!





    And he's a big motherfucker! He's a HUGE 185'er.

    Nate the great is one of those fighter who seems to have matured more from a loss(to the spider) ala GSP style. I would love to see a potential match up of Nate marquadt and damien maia and winner get Anderson silva. It would actually be a great lead-up for the top contender and give AS a reputable contender.
