    I just got here and im on vacation for another 3 weeks or so, was wondering what are must see places around here? where do i go for live poker? Any recommendations for good restaurants or must have food places? Thanks.

    There is not much to do there but there is a poker room in Ocala. The only places I've really eaten at that you wouldnt know are Copper Monkey and Harry's.

    There is a really good sushi place there, on the main strip, not sure the name. Dragon Fly or something.

    this place is in gainesville. i'm not from there so i have no idea how we got there but if u ask some locals theyll prolly know.

    Well, Ive lived in Gainesville last 4 years....your in for a shitty 3 weeks, its especially dead right now since most of students are gone for summer. Go to Ocala poker room about a 30 min drive down 441 at a shitty jai alai place. bunch of awful players there i usually leave with decent profit if i can hold back from wanting to punch some morons face in. For food go to Paramount grill or marks prime, both downtown. dragonfly, harrys are both downtown also. That rock jumping picture is at a quarry off Tower road went there drunk one night and jumped its a decent thrill.

    yea was thinking of driving out to cities like orlando and tampa, visit some themeparks probably, any suggestions on stuff to do in these cities? wouldnt mind a 4hr or something drive if the place is worth it, any suggestion on places close by or like neighboring states?

    If you go to Tampa hit the hard rock. Their poker room is top class with lots of fish. After July 1st you can bring any amount of money to the table you want (currently you can only bring $100 to the table) Tampa Hard Rock also has real nice sit n go's if thats your thing. Last time I was there they were spreading $130, $260, $540 and $1080 NLHE s n g's. While you're in Tampa go to Bush Gardens too and ride some coasters. The dog tracks all have good games too. Some are shitholes some are decent.
