  1. If I don't post this, I run the risk that UD will. I have to admit this is a really solid level. I wonder if they will get any bites from true blue Objectivists.

    http://www.galtyourself.com/

Spread the message of integrity, logic, and selfishness and look good while doing it.

Objectivist products that you can wear, stick, and use.

Don't remove yourself from society. Just GALT YOURSELF and then say " i "™
  2. hmmpf. I always thought "Galt yourself" meant "lose all your money shorting gold"
  3. They should get this guy to do their commercials. This guy gets "i" ...

  4. So is the main tenet of Objectivism actively looking to screw over other believers in Objectivism? Because that's what it seems like.

Hey, here's an idea for all you Rand fans! Go see a shitty movie made on a shoestring budget, designed to appeal to your silly beliefs and get some of your hard-earned money with a subpar product!

Currently clocking in with 5% on Rotten Tomatoes!

Who is John Galt? Well he sure as fuck ain't a movie critic.
  5. Well isn't this funny? Thanks to miracle of the internet, Rotten Tomatoes has let me know that my friend Jon Wiesman has given Atlas Shrugged one star. I didn't realize you had seen the flick, UD! Which part didn't you like?

Wait, what? I didn't rate it. WTF.

EDITED: Weird, not sure how that happened. I just wen to RT to get the link to post here, but sure enough, somehow I had clicked on one star. I removed the rating and checked "Want to see it" instead to attone for my accidental premature... rating.

EDITED AGAIN: Who the FUCK is Jon Weisman?

  7. You gonna stick with that story? : )

Despite misclicks and such phenomena, 85% of the audience says they enjoyed it. The 5% rating comes strictly from "officially approved" critics who are honor-bound to bash anything to do with Ayn Rand. I'll probably go see it tomorrow.

Well, I would think that any rating system as unscientific as Rotten Tomatoes must be considered intolerably subjective to any good Objectivist. Let's just see what the Box Office numbers look like on Monday, shall we? When in doubt, let the market decide, right? Right?
