JOHN SNOW, YOU KNOW NOTHING!
-
This episode was not good, I mean, I gotta use the B-word here, the books just took a shit on every one of those scenes. It was like watching a toddler try to finger bang his fat sister and not in a good way. Skip over every fucking badass part and paint everyone out to be cunts. Fuck sake
-
I wonder how Sam is going to make it out alive surrounded by White Walkers and zombies.
-
They sure made it seem like Sansa was going to leave with him.

I was surprised by the whole developement for Sansa. I was pretty sure she had taken the hound up on his offer to bring her to Winterfell. The scene with Tyrion was lame. It seems like he's been marginalized now with Tywin coming to King's Landing, and it looked like he was going to accept that fact, which sucks.
As for Tyrion, I doubt he's just accepting his demotion. Watch him undermine everything his family does, and try and get back at his sister for trying to kill him and his father for never loving him/what he did to that who're he loved as a teenager. -
I know why the town was burned but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to answer. Lol

Agree and disagree. I think if you can separate the show from the books this was actually a pretty decent episode. I think I would have really liked this episode if this was the first time I was exposed to the material. If you view it through the strict lens that this is an adaptation then I can't argue with you; The source material is just too damn good.

This last episode pretty much followed suit from last season. The real finale was the second to last episode. 1st season was Ned getting taken out and this season was the Blackwater battle. Last episode kind of wraps shit up for the next season. Both also ended with a cool dragon scene. From birth (season 1) to fire breathing which I thought was cool.

Wasnt expecting to see zombies appear at the end, is there part of the storyline that im missing.

Edited By: TheWacoKidd Jun 4th, 2012 at 11:55 PMdamn, really? they talked about, showed, and even killed them in season 1. they are in the first scene of the show, and then one of them attacks the wall and Jon Snow kills it.Originally Posted by alun

they are called white walkers, they can take over dead humans (obv) -

Edited By: hoops886 Jun 5th, 2012 at 12:32 AMThere's a difference between White Walkers and Whites. White Walkers are there own race and not human. Whites are corpses reanimated by the White Walkers. Jon Snow kills a White.Originally Posted by TheWacoKidd

I know, it's been discussed on this board before at length... I just didn't call the zombie white walkers "whites" in my post.
fairly sure there is info in those links that can't be learned only from the show -
all I know is Theon rapes. that dude can act. his speech was incredible. love it.
why was Stannis referred to as "Sun God"? whats his story? is it coming or did I miss it?
ironic that joffrey is the most pathetic out of all who pursue the throne yet he's the one with everything now.
has the day walkers weakness been said?
whats the rivalry between varys and littlefinger about? whats so important about being the slickest guy in the know? true power will never be possessed by these two, only wealth. so whats really going on there?
robb stark should die soon. hes worthless -
fire. the Wildlings burn their dead

another thing. i just read something i sort of agree with. nothing happened this season. new characters but all of the ones who remained from season 1 are either the same or still trying to get through the plot they were in season 1
When that ceases to be true, show will be over. -

I believe that they have given most or all of the back story on this that they will give in the show. But since I can't be certain, I won't post the reason why here. If you want an explanation which mostly involves the history of westeros I can pm you one but understand that there is a chance that they expand upon the history of this further in the future. -
wow instantaneous! pm it to me. idgaf

I'd say Tyrion, Sansa, Jon, and Arya to a degree had a pretty good amount of character progression this season.
-
its nothing like me wandering in the middle of a film wanting to know coz its the end of the series, and yeah im the little kid look at you going out of your way to impress your pals by trying to belittle me, very mature
-
Surprised no one has mentioned that Arya, guy that is apparently a shapeshifter (forgot name) element. She also mentioned her dancing instructor again so I am anticipating his return at some point.
-
Something I have been trying to figure out for awhile is why the mother of dragons thinks she has any claim to the throne. I thought only dudes had any claim. And even if she is the only Targaryen left she is still disqualified because she is female right?
