  1. Ok, so I am working on opening a new gaming store in the near future. Basically I will be selling all things one would put in a "game room". Poker chips, cards, tables, etc... Blackjack, roulette, bar stool, billiards , and more. However I can not decide what I want to do with the homepage. Was wondering if anyone would be willing to throw out some free design ideas. Obviously I am not expecting much for free, but it would be greatly appreciated if you had some general ideas.

Here is a link to what it currently looks like:

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
  2. are you allergic to color??
  3. Not trying to discourage you...however I've seen these types of game stores open and close like no tommorrow. I suggest you look at your idea again and maybe decide on a different route. Why not just run the store online. Find distributers for your products and basically wholesale them on the internet. This strategy will save you a ton of money. You're rarely going to have someone walk off the street and purchase items for $500+, people will compare prices online, this is just the nature of retail nowadays.

Well, that is my current plan. It is not a brick&mortar thing, simply an online sales venture. I already have my plan laid out for how I am going about everything. Just lacking content/design ideas for the homepage. Thanks for the input though.

  5. No problem. I was just worried that you were debating opening a tangible store lol You can hire someone to professionally design a website with all the bells and whistles for relatively cheap. Just start emailing the tech departments of colleges and it's very easy to find a student who has all the tools and knowledge to create an awesome website for cheap. GL with your business adventure.
  6. Get more traffic
    sell/rent classic porn XXX videos.
  7. Most of those types of gaming sites suck. Prolly due to the age factor of the people involved. +1 to making a nice site.

I would try to implement a casino/promotions for hire crew.Dealers, table games, auctions, charity events, promotions etc... Great way to make a lil side cash if you can find a good event director. What better a way to get your high end merch right into the hands of high end clients. Get a good crew run good events, there are slac ass crews in every town with folding tables etc... I would just offer high end charity services, not bachelor party type gigs. Could be a seasonal thing too. Holidays are jammed for these events. Have tons of marketing materials also.

or find legit run services a bunch just flat out suck. to do referal linking with in the area. gl

  8. I owned one of these sites for a year or so. I didn't really put much work into, paid someone to build and host it. Had one supplier who drop shipped everything. Trademark Global i think was the name of my supplier.

I would advise trying to find an original product to offer costumers. The internet is soooo saturated with this stuff. Companies like Trademark Global have people opening up websites daily. I think you really need something to set you apart, in order to make it worth your while.

  9. Thanks for all the great ideas. It is very much appreciated. To get more specific, what I am trying to figure out right now though is what to put in that homepage section that currently says, "WELCOME TO LEYSGAMES".

I know most sites just have lots of products listed on the homepage, but I don't really like that. I was thinking more along the lines of a cool images that shows opening week deals, or promotion/membership deals, or something like that. Not really sure though. I am pretty good with photoshop and can do the programming side by myself if need be, just not very creative right now. Thanks again, this is very helpful.

  10. Just being honest here... but leysgames wouldn't exactly stay on the tip of my tongue for too long. Find a name that people will remember, make it your domain name, go from there. Don't have one in mind but there's gotta be something better.
