    <span>Rockledge police say that a man who suffered three gunshot wounds after noon Friday has refused to say how he received them.</span>

    Rusty E. Lewark, 25, was found at his Marlin Manor Subdivision residence with three gunshot wounds to his upper torso. Police were contacted by a woman who said Lewark had arrived at her <nobr id="itxt_nobr_1_0">house</nobr> in "serious condition" and later left.

    After Lewark was found, he was transported to Holmes Regional Trauma Center.

    Lewark's residence also was searched by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission because of a dead alligator on the property and by the Department of Children andFamilies because of “poor living conditions,” police said.
