Good advice. That cocksucker knows everything.
  5. It depends what Diablo set you were looking at...they have a Diablo Edge y-set that goes 3-4-5 hybrid, then 6-PW with regular irons. They also carry just a normal set of Diablo Edge irons that don't have hybrids. Most golfers nowadays go with like a 4-SW set or even 5-SW set (if you can find this makeup), and buy a 2h and 3h...or 3h and 4h. Hybrids are much easier to hit for most people...whereas long irons are a pain in the ass for a lot of golfers.

We've had great success with the Burner 2.0 irons from TaylorMade...or if you can eBay a set of Burner Plus irons from a few years ago--those were even better for "beginner" golf. They are a very forgiving iron.

PM me if you have any question...I can try to answer, or have one of the guys I work with help out.

  6. Oh just noticed on Cleveland FB page that I use the same Irons/wedges as keegan bradley /brag
  7. Callaway irons are great for mid-high handicappers. You're going to want a progressive cavity backed set with at least a 4 and 5 hybrid probably. These are easier to hit out of the rough, go higher and land softer, and generally go farther than your 4-5 irons. Also easier to hit and better results off your mishits.

Try and buy a year old, will save you a shit load of $$$. Test some clubs, do not just buy them just cuz. Check out Titleist AP1's. Price will be down from last year and they are thick soled cavity backed clubs that are slightly progressive.

Either way good luck. Pm me if you want even tho I'm never on p5's. I basically custom fit poppers wedges via text (hahaha). Ask him how that's going for him?

Fairways and greens. Probably throw in a hot beer cart bitty too.
  8. I bought myself a set of TaylorMade R7 Steel shaft Irons 2 years ago for around 400$. Very forgiving set of clubs. I would recommend getting a 3H as well good.

I did the same thing and am pretty happy with them. I picked up the 3H burner and it's my favorite club in the bag.
  10. When I bought around xmas time last year I bought the last years model and prolly saved about 3-400. Hostile did immensely help with my wedge selection and I'm am stoked with the performance of my CG14 52-56-60. If I could only put everything in my game together for a 4 hour strecth I might even break 80
