I'd like to say that I think this is the last year we'll be seeing Brett Favre play. Favre threw 5 INT's today and just looked like he was in need of a rest home. I love watching Brett Favre play but he got old.
-
you obviously havent watched him very often.....hes been making perfect throws all season....it would be nice if for other then Driver, we actually had a NFL receiver instead of all these college kids
favre threw 5 pics but 2 of them were deflected at line and fell right into the LBs hands...
the 3 games before sunday favre had 0 pics......he'll be back next year, if you have watched any of his games this year he still goes nuts over every TD he throws -
yeah , I think yesterday was just one of those Farve days ......
He's looked pretty good thruout this yr ... all things considered -
I think Favre has been done for about 3 years now. No offense, but I get tired of watching Packers games and hearing the announcers slob him when they would go completely nuts on any other QB that makes the plays he does somtimes.

Pretty good stats for a guy that's been washed up for 3 years. Led the NFC in TD passes 2002 & 2003. 211 consecutive games started might be considered a small feat as well. Even w/ the 5 INT's yesterday figured in he's still in the top half this year as far as QB rating goes. Washed up??????...that doesn't even justify a response in all honesty. Like 'em or hate him the guy will retire as statistically one of the best to ever play the game and certainly isn't washed up now much less has been for 3 years....please.
The only thing I can think you might be looking at to make your determination is the number of interceptions he's thrown this year. For God's sake man, the guy has always thrown a shitload of INTs. As far as the Pack's record goes everybody honestly knows that's not Favre's fault. So easy to kick the QB when the team is having a down year, but this guy absolutely doesn't need to or deserve to be kicked. Does he need a slap upside the head every now and then to remind him he can't perform the impossible???... always has and probably always will. I'll take his guts, guile, detrmination, enthusiasm & talent on my team as long as he's wearing a jersey.
Man, I'm hanging onto his nuts with almost as tight a grip as CFH on Shockey's!!!! -
nice ingas
whered you go trues?
owned -
You know how you can tell that Brett still owns ..... bet against them ..... lol
I learned the hard way ..... :(
F Carolina on Monday nite
F Cincy -
SIX INTERCEPTIONS, some fan intercepted him in the 4th quarter they never posted.

The Packers also lost two very good linemen to free agency this year, not to mention like said earlier injuries that kept these players out for all of or part or the rest of the season on the offense: Green, DavenPort, Walker, Ferguson, Franks among others. On top of that the defense is very young and very um.... how should i put this.... not good. Next on the list is the coach, since Martz is gone, if Tice gets fired Sherman would be the worst coach in the league. Favre is great and always has been. People just get sick of hearing it cuz he is not on their team. If he was on your team u would bow down.
The teams record is not Favre's fault at all. The last three weeks he has been classic Favre, single handedly almost bringing them back against Carolina, even though they lost that game. I was still happy, my dad called me and felt the same way. "he sure had it tonite didn't he" nuff said. He is simply the greatest.
as for next year I vote for Bush with the top pick and to spend some money on a DE and a LB and pray that #4 hangs around cuz nobody will give them a better shot to win.
GG haters -
The original post was retarded.
-
Good stats and I did not realize his stats had been that good the past 3 years. I will back off my original statement but I have still seen numerous games over the past few years that he was the reason they lost, including last Sunday. You can't blame that one on anyone but Brett.
-
but when they win who do you blame? it was a team effort right? but when they lose there is no one else you can even think of pointing the finger at.
