    I knew he was batshit crazy but do you think if Fox gets rid of him under pressure, that will affirm all he's been preaching against? The guy is a nut and this is a pretty good article on the situation.

    well I think people take him to be 100% serious. He likes to almost level people with his wacky skits he does to try and make points. You think he is batshit crazy but he is just having a good time. Hell I bet im a dick 75% of the time on ot but it's in good fun or least what I see in him

    Like Hannity he is an entertainer, nothing more really. Yes, I do tend to watch him and Hannity both, but the screaming and other wild behaviors all feed into the audience, expectations and where the ratings come from.

    BTW, given the liberal hatred here towards O'Reilly, Hannity and more (Foxnews basically), why are the ratings SO high for them versus the other networks?

    Glen will be on air until the dems are out of power.. from what I remember from the few of his shows that I watched on CNN he wasn't a mouthpiece of the right. He just seems to have a problem with government in general. Combine that with whatever pill(s) he's addicted to and boom - ratings through the roof.

    poor choice of words on Beck's part. should have used "bigoted" which is what he meant.

    and he's not even close to finished. he has the 3rd most listened to radio show in the nation. might be done on Fox for a while, but he's far from finished.

    LOL at OP. If FOX fired Beck, that would make them bat shit insane. Have you seen that guys ratings? For every advertiser that boycotts his show there's many more waiting to get in. This is a poor attempt to dethrone Beck by LIBERALS. Advertisers leave shows all the time.

    I can't stand Hannity, Beck, or O'Reilly yet I find myself watching them sometimes, either to mix it up for different viewpoints or for sheer entertainment value. You couldnt pay me on the other hand to watch Rachel Maddow or Olberman, and I think a lot of logical left leaning people are the same way.

    Might have some impact on the ratings disparity

    That's where people utterly lose their credibility. If you want to talk healthcare, leave out the part where you think our government is going to pick a race of people, and fucking exterminate them.

Had Hitler et al not killed anyone, and just nationalized shit, no one would have really given a fuck, and they CERTAINLY wouldn't be mentioned these days when health care is talked about in America.
