    So 2010 is coming to an end.

    Looking back you probably didn't accomplish everything you wanted to this year, but maybe some of you did. Every new year brings the opportunity to start again at a new goal or maybe to continue on a goal from the previous year.
    It always feels good to start something and then finish it. I remember Scha having that idea for an arcade and building it (even if it was to lure in the jailbait). Thats an accomplishment that should be noted and proud of.

    As for me, I honestly didn't accomplish hardly anything at all in 2010. In fact it was a year I'd pretty much like to forget. If it wasn't for my Auburn Tigers having such an incredible year I'd just call it a wash but that truly has been exciting and something I'm thankful for.
    Going into next year i have quite a few goals and now that I've become more disciplined towards the end of this year I think my chances of attaining them is a lot higher than last year when i just went through the motions

    Just to list a few I'd like to:
    Get back in shape (i know a lot of us have that goal but dammit i have a bowflex in our extra room and used it 4 times in a year)
    Finish school
    Have a meaningful relationship with da female
    Save and go to more fun events like Sports and Concerts (adding Red Rocks to this of course)
    A 5 fig score? you never know
    Get a new car

    Those are just a few of mine. What are yours?

    I just did this a few days ago and have them taped inside the top drawer of my desk:

    Raise $10mm in managed futures

    Go under and stay under 220lbs (I got down to 215 in 2010 and I'm back in the high 230s, #$%@#%)

    Knock down and rebuild my house and put a pool in the back yard

    Buy a 2nd home in California (Newport Beach)

    Do my part to keep my daughter (16) off drugs (other than weed), on the honor roll, and without child

    Shoot a new personal best round of golf (76 now)

    In the mean time for the rest of the year I'm going to eat like I'm on death row, check my office messages from the bar, and smoke as much weed as Bob Marley's whole family.

    definitely get back in shape...

    i'm 5'9 and weigh about 180 now...

    i used to be 150 lbs and like 5% body fat (used to play ball 2-3 hours EVERYDAY, and then lift for another hour over the course of about 3 years...i miss having all that free time)

    im gonna be put into a situation where im going to be driving far to work for a while, so its either sit in rush hour traffic for an hour, or go to the gym right after work and just wait it out, so i should have the proper motivation and time to do so

    also, once my stars self ban is up, and i make that first deposit...never depo again

    Clearly you are getting old. I had that goal for past few years and than realized I can still play basketball at the playground. Plus, runnin 26 miles doesnt make me any younger and has absolutely 0% of competition involved. Good Luck tho.
