Going to AC on Sunday...Any deals on hotels?

    Trying to find a deal on a hotel in AC. I've never been there so I don't have any points or anything, but if you know of any promo codes I'd appreciate it. So far the lowest rate I've found is at the Tropicana for $59.99. Can you beat it?!

    tropicana is always the cheapest unless you wanna stay in an economy inn motel right next to the boardwalk and get stabbed by homeless people all day, but i think even those are more expensive than trop.

    I'd really suggest not staying at the Trop. I stayed there in late 2007 during one of the Borgata WPT events and I ordered room service late one night. I got food poisoning and literally couldn't get out of bed for the next few days. Apparently a couple weeks later it got closed for health violations and is apparently under new ownership now, but I'd stay away.

    I was covering for p5slive and had people texting me updates because I couldn't even make it down the road to Borgata.

    Trop is terrrrrrrrrrrible. Probably the worse customer service experience of my life. Uncoordinated, the dealers were absolutely HORRENDOUS, but there were some super fly hookers walking around the French Quarter when I was there around Halloween 2007, so bonus points for that.

    On a side note, although I've never actually executed a contract w/ a hooker, I did get "turned down" by one--at the Trop... around Halloween 2007. Do you have any idea what that does to the confidence? Lol.. hahahahahaha, makes a good story though..

    Anyway, if you can go up on Saturday and play some table games/slots for a little while without shipping it, you should be able to get comped rather easily at any of the Harrah's properties or Taj. I'm pretty sure they give rooms away Sun-Thurs if you're playing ANYTHING.
