Do they offer flexi time?
When they have jobs in higher positions do they look to promote from within first? do they advertise the jobs and let any current employees know that its up fr grabs?
Do they have plans or structures in place for career/professional development?
As a side not have you been employed for the last 5 or are you just looking for work now? -
Ask if it's against company policy to play "guess her muff" in the workplace.

I had a minor car accident prior to attending the interview today, not a good start, not my best performance in the interview either. FML. -
If I'm writing an article in the newspaper about you, what would the headline be if limited to 3 words.
What can you tell me that will make me remember your name instead of the other interviewers I will be conducting?
Ask about what he thinks is his true weaknesses (dont let him turn it into a positive) and ask how he will go about changing that. -
Couple of pointers:
Learn about the company - if they are public, what's been happening with their stock, check latest news (say like new contracts/projects).
Ask questions about the interviewer - they generally like talking about themselves.
How long have you been with the company. What was your career path with the company?
What kind of community projects is the company involved in? (basically implying that you enjoy doing charitable works).
What are the particular challenges going on in the company? And from there offer potential solutions (even if they are obvious) - it shows that you understand the business and are willing to think about those things that will improve the company. And if you get lucky and come up with a point they hadn't considered, they will definitely be talking about you after the interview. -

Edited By: elendil Mar 11th, 2011 at 01:14 AMThese are great questions for the interviewer to ask, I'm sitting on the other side of the desk tho. I was looking for questions besides the standard questions you can ask about the role etc. Cheers ZeeOriginally Posted by ZeeDustin

Cheers spanky, I did a bit of research on the company. I will ask more questions about the interviewer in my next one, seems like a good stratergy.

"What types of opportunities for growth are there in this organization/company?"
This question shows that you have goals and the desire to grow in your position. You're looking at the bigger picture, rather than just finding a job just for the short term.
My last job interview went very well. I'm not familiar with the intricacies of your job, but in my field (Information Management), I was able to discuss the systems and tools they use. Plans they have for the next 5 years. The types of initiatives/projects I would be working on, etc. I asked a lot of questions...
Given my experience, I was able to flip the interview to "why should I come work for you/what do you have to offer me" (without directly saying that). I also inquired about personal growth and the ability to receive additional training/courses, such as a CRM certification.
Also keep in mind that eye contact and confidence is so important.
Good luck in the interview. -
How about, "I don't smoke much but I am a compulsive masturbator. Will the company provide tissues for my masturbation breaks throughout the day or do I need to bring my own?"

how up to date is your technology compared to the competitors.
