If I were you, I wouldn't say anything to that guy. You had it made. There is a dealer here who has the same issue, although the game is run at his house, and there isn't an option for him not to deal. If you don't have a setup where you are dealing the game from your house, and you are providing the venue, then you're at the mercy of the people who play in the game.

Even the guy who runs his own game, and controls who plays in it, is at the mercy of satisfying the players to keep them coming back. It's their livelihood, and they need to provide the best experience possible. Also, you should pick up a copy of rules for whatever game you are playing. Keep that on hand, and abide by it. Let all the players in the game know what you are basing your rules off of, and that you make the final decision on anything controversial. Make sure you run the most fair game possible, and you should have no problems whatsoever.
