bad is an adjective, describing a noun (or a pronoun) only
badly is an adverb, describing a verb only
the verb 'teach' is modified by the adverb 'badly.' adverbs always answer 'how.'
how does she want to teach? badly.
formal english:
if she wants to teach english poorly, she should say "i want to teach english so badly"
or
informal english:
if she has a strong desire to teach english, she could say "i want to teach english so badly"
for wanting to be an english teacher, she could have found a more poignant way to express her eagerness to teach english.
