  8. Katy Perry nominated for Album of the Year? I mean really?
  9. excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between album of the year and record of the year? They sound like the same thing.
  10. Kinda funny "forget you" is nominated for song of the year when thats not even the title of the real song.

    What a joke this is...
  11. Wikipedia says Album is for the artist whereas Record is for artist/writer/producer and I suspect focuses more on production value while Album probably focuses more on sales/songwriting (or, rather, I suspect that's what they allegedly judge when they're pretending this thing isn't a gigantic dick-suck-athon).

    - I think Lady Antebellum steals this one as the safe choice
    - I also think katie Perry will walk with two
  13. so what is the difference between record and song of the year?

You think the group that stole their hit song from Alan parsons project is the easy choice??? Such garbage. If they win all those awards I'll puke.

I call shenanigans...if you've listened to the radio for longer than 15 consecutive minutes at any point since this summer, you've heard this song.

I've never heard them before but knowing that 98.4% of all indie rock is god awful I'll just ignorantly disagree with you.
  28. Surprised there was no love for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, did it just come out too late for this year?
  29. I've wanted to say this before, but refrained because people on here seem to not care a whole lot for the country music. BUT, Jamey Johnson's Guitar Song is a must buy. If you claim to enjoy country music, you will know what I'm talking about. The guy is old school and this CD is genuine country. The ZBB cd is gold also, but in a modern country type of way. Guitar Song is pure country though and would win the Country Album of the Year award in a heartbeat if Johnson was more recognized among the general public IMO
