What do you guys think? -
lol @ no Taylor Swift whatsoever. and lol @ Florence + The Machine being a new artist!
-
i like the video, but i cant, for the life of me figure out how Kings of Leon "Radioactive" is considered a rock song of the year
-
When did i mention Mumford and Sons and "rock" in the same line of thought?

'Mojo' -- Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers
'Le Noise' -- Neil Young
lol. It's like 1975 in here. I was gonna come in here and point out what a joke the Grammys are, but the Grammys already did it for me. -
exactly my thoughts. out with the old, give the new a chance. just like it took rap FOREVER to get any cred
-
Katy Perry nominated for Album of the Year? I mean really?
-
excuse my ignorance, but what's the difference between album of the year and record of the year? They sound like the same thing.
-
Kinda funny "forget you" is nominated for song of the year when thats not even the title of the real song.
What a joke this is... -
Wikipedia says Album is for the artist whereas Record is for artist/writer/producer and I suspect focuses more on production value while Album probably focuses more on sales/songwriting (or, rather, I suspect that's what they allegedly judge when they're pretending this thing isn't a gigantic dick-suck-athon).

- I think Lady Antebellum steals this one as the safe choice

Until reading this post, I'd never heard any of those songs. -
Can't tell if they're not trying anymore or they're trying to hard with these nominations.

Its just censored here, they're actually nominating the unedited version. There was an article about it, cant find it tho.
Reason: That was post 420. Big ol' sigh -
If Recovery doesn't win album of the year...
-
I call shenanigans...if you've listened to the radio for longer than 15 consecutive minutes at any point since this summer, you've heard this song.

Surprised there was no love for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, did it just come out too late for this year?
-
I've wanted to say this before, but refrained because people on here seem to not care a whole lot for the country music. BUT, Jamey Johnson's Guitar Song is a must buy. If you claim to enjoy country music, you will know what I'm talking about. The guy is old school and this CD is genuine country. The ZBB cd is gold also, but in a modern country type of way. Guitar Song is pure country though and would win the Country Album of the Year award in a heartbeat if Johnson was more recognized among the general public IMO
