Does it come to an end or not? You know I'm talking about the Undertaker being 18-0 at Wrestlemania. I haven't watched in about 10 years but I might get this on the weekend just for old times sake. Fake or not, being able to do what he does for that long is impressive. He stayed relevant enough to have them give him the win every year and he has managed to be uninjured (or at least dragged his ass through the match).

lol
-
ive seen better streaks in underwear
-
haha. Wrestlings fake kiddo.
Ive never been much of a fan even as a kid, but 1 of my friends has always loved it from WCW, WWF, ECW, CZW, TNA and whatever. I remember years ago he was convinced that had been a few different people acting as the undertaker over the years. He would watch different matches and compare the tattoos, height and general looks. Has it always been the same guy? Maybe they had to get people to step in because of injury when big 'fights' were coming up over the years. -
the writers will keep his streak alive, try to bet on it
lol -
I guess I am a closet wrestling nerd, but if I am not mistaken, isn't Triple H sort of running things behind the scenes with his wife? If he books himself to end Undertaker's streak, wouldn't that be a little too self indulgent? Also, it's obvious from last night that Shawn Michaels will somehow get involved.

Oh, and I love the idea of turning John Cena heel. -
there is only 1 reason to watch wrestlemania. The Rock is back.
-
Oh and lets not forget Fedor's 26 fight win streak, in real fighting.
-
how many years tho?
and he is actually alive -
Like I said, I haven't watched in a long time. I guess what I find most impressive is that someone could maintain their relevance in anything that that long. Plus, obviously wrestling is fake, but I'd be willing to bet they sustain as many or more injuries than the 'real' athletes out there. Certainly not trying to lump it in as a sport but anyone who thinks it is easy is kidding themselves. Oh and LOL at the guy who called me kiddo... I'll assume you must be like 50? And come on Powda... I love Fedor but the Undertaker probably could have beaten some of the guys that Fedor fought during that streak. If we're talking greatest streaks lets not both including that.

Clearly Michaels is going to cost HHH the win. HHH will have the Undertaker beaten (following a pedigree, I guess), HBK will fuck it up for him. Undertaker's streak remains and a huge feud is set between HHH and HBK. I'm guessing HBK is either bored or broke, therefore comeback.
Also, Undertaker needs to lose the eye-liner. He looked a bit gay last night. -
Cal Ripkin consecutive games>Mickey Mantle 56 game hit streak>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>being undefeated in fake wrestling

Have I missed something?

Lol eff me right?? I suck, I know it's Joe DiMaggio. At least I didn't claim a fake wrestler has the greatest streak of all-time.
-
and the brit spotted it. lol americas game
-
Yikes... my post was made slightly in jest... obviously better streaks... Cal, Joe, Gretzky... the list goes on... but I'd rather have made my OP than eff that up. Jesus, I'm a Canadian who hates baseball and I knew that.
-
people watch wrestling???
hmmm... do you get paid to watch it or something? -
lol touche...
I approve -
i never understood why people claim wrestling is fake.. i mean i guess obviously the scenarios are planned, the moves are calculated whatever. The physical toll they put on their bodies is pretty crazy though. .definitely dont classify it as a sport, but i definitely respect what they do. One time i was bored at work and wikipedia'd mrs elizabeth, and then kept clicking on other wrestlers that were linked, etc.. its amazing to see how many are dead, or were on drug overdoses, divorces.. basically every bad thing in the book.. rough lifestyle fa sho

deadspin has these "dead wrestler" features like once month (they are really incredible whether you were a fan or not. Very well written and awesome stories). I remember in one, the writer spoke about how the whole DX era came about because Triple H and Shawn Michaels were essentially controlling the storylines (I believe kevin nash and scott hall as well, but WWE got rid of them because it was getting too ridiculous that these would never lose and had all this control or something). So I believe that Triple H has been running shit to some degree for over 10 years now.

I don't know anything about the match (he's fighting Triple H I guess?), but I could see Undertaker losing and then retiring/semi-retiring. This is the fight that they wanted Brock Lesnar to come back for and they were going to give him a few million for. The suspension of disbelief gets a little too difficult when a middle aged Undertaker is beating up the "baddest man on the planet." I think Undertaker losing this match, to whoever he was going to fight, was a possibility for them all along. -
isnt wrestlemaina where there is like 20 guys last one in ring wins? dont think its head to head but could be wrong
-
They won't waste Undertaker's streak on someone who will not be an active participant in 5 years (HHH is close to retiring himself). IF it happens (and maybe they don't let the streak end and he just retires after next year - 20-0), it will be to someone that the WWE wants to put over in a big way. Cena is still in position to be that guy, but any number of the younger guys would get a huge boost by being the guy to break the streak.
I know it's scripted, but I am 100% certain that Undertaker will win this year. Both him and HHH are coming off injuries (hence the match is a no DQ match) so they can make it more of a brawl. I actually don't expect anywhere near the type of match that Taker had with Michaels over the past 2 years. -
obv goes 20-0 then the MIz wins makes it 20-1
