  1. Discuss. I'm a Bears homer but I think is a typical overreaction to the Packers win at Atlanta. I thought the line would come out as a pick'em. The line from the Atlanta game tells you that Vegas already thought the Packers were the best team in the NFC but I'm still kinda surprised by this.

Should be a great game regardless.

  2. source?
  3. I can't wait until the Bear fan obnoxiousness ends after next week. But I guess it will just restart the Cub fan obnoxiousness when the Bears lose to GB.

Reason: If the line is -3 I'm backing up the truck. Should be -14.
  4. Who would be betting on the Bears PK? Bears had to be underdogs in this game...I figured it would be 2.5 or 3.

  5. pack are a better team with an extra day of rest. also, soldier field isnt an advantage at all

    seems right
  6. I hate the bears but as 3 pt dogs ill probably splash on that ml.
  7. A little bit better defensively, offense is much better, their QB just had one of the top 5 QB performances in nfl history, an extra day of rest, and they are good on the road. makes sense.

Solid analysis right there. Yes, the Packers should be -14 in Chicago for the NFC championship game. I feel much better about the Bears next week now. Five Dimes has a line up and I think a couple other places as well. Was just a little surprised. I guess they had to put it at 3 since everyone will be on GB after what they did to Atlanta. Also, whoever said Soldier Field is not an advantage, care to elaborate on that?

The line is 3. If you want to back up the truck, I have plenty of room in the driveway, if ya get my meaning?

It is an advantage, but not enough to make up for how much better the packers are. It was obv huge against the saints a few years ago, but not nearly as big a factor against GB. Mbn to play a southern dome team in a snow storm for the NFC championship...
  12. Yes, the NFL is clearly rigged against teams who are located in a warm climate yet play in a dome.
  13. when they played a few weeks ago green bay had everything to play for at home against the bears. the bears had nothing to play for and ran a vanilla offense pretty much the whole game and green bay barely won. chicago wins that game going away at soldier field. im not worried. i figured the line would be right about where it is at.
  14. Bear fan average IQ over/under 79.5

Ya that was definitely the difference in 2005. I get what yer saying as the weather won't be an issue. But, don't forget what the Bears defense did against them in a must-win for GB in wk 17. Also, hate to admit it, but Rodgers is probably top 3 in the NFL right now with Brady being the only one I'd definitely put ahead of him. And I thought he was gonna be a bust coming out of Cal. Can't wait for the game no matter what. Has the feel of a game that could easily come down to 2 or 3 big plays.

yes? A loss turns into "wins going away" because the game is played in Chicago and not Green Bay? Sure...makes sense.....oh wait, no it doesn't.

  19. you win man. congrats.
  20. packers are going to win 34-24
  21. I think if both teams had no injuries then the Packers are way better, but with the amount of injuries Packers have had it does make it a closer game. If Aaron Rodgers plays the way he did it willbe impossible for Bears to win in my opinion. I am a Bears fan but a realistic one. They have won 2x the number of games I thought they would so I wouldn't be surprised with another one.
  22. I'm going to be able to put my kids through college with the money I win on this game. How the Fuck are the bears an underdog at home?

  23. It's funny, pinnacle had this line up during the 3rd quarter of todays game.

    Bears 23, Pack 20
  24. Bears suck

  25. I think that line is right where it should be.
  26. bdubs i wanna know how much you put up for this game

  28. At least all the Packer fans will get Joe Buck and Troy Aikman fighting each other for who gets to blow Aaron Rodgers first. Terrible listen for Bears fans, they are way biased for GB

You do realize they played a game in Chicago already this year, right? And that Chicago didn't win going away, right?

You realize that the game was tied, and the Packers hit James Jones for a solid gain on the sideline, and he was stripped, and the ball miraculously stayed in-bounds for a Bears fumble recovery, right? The Bears took over at midfield, and hit a big pass to Olsen down the seam...got a few PI calls (one of which was picked on a LOLCutler throw), and kicked the game-winning FG.

That sure sounds like a blowout at Soldier Field...
