  1. Brett Favre is truely my life inspiration and one of my biggest heroes. Every sunday I would wake up and wait until kickoff, which seemed forever. The overall composure and leadership of number 4 carried on through my life as a kid and when i was still in high school. If i was ever in a sport and was down headed into the final minutes, I thought, "What would Brett do?" He would find any way possible to win and never had a thought of losing in his mind. He was a true inspiration to me and the Green Bay Community. Just a true ironman and i do not think he will ever be replaced ont he field or in my heart. When i have kids, i can tell them about my life, how i grew up, and how every sunday i watched brett favre, that will be my favorite memory

    Most likely more to come

If anyone reads this, Happy 1 year p5 anniversary to me.!!

    I cried, yes

  2. Same here man. I still remember those October breezy days where I'd watch Favre light it up in the first half, go play catch with my brother outside at halftime, and then come back to watch a great second half...always the highlight of my week. I can't even imagine what it will feel like without him playing this September...so weird, and I will probably cry like I did when Reggie White retired. Sigh...
  3. happy anniversarry!

    its my anniversarry as well!

and i am a huge GB fan.

  4. you didnt cry yet?
  5. i think he is a farthead and will regret retiring leaving his last memory being that key interseption he thru when he didnt lead the receiver on an out rout and thru it too far inside resulting in an error on his part. When he made that throw and that play unfolded, i immediately thought, he will definately be back next year. I guess he can live with that poorly thrown interseption, costing his team the win in overtime....

  11. The thought of the draft just got a little more exciting, but really we're f'ed now...
  12. I am a Vikings fan and I hate the Packers. That being said, I have never respected an opposing player like I have Brett Favre. I to will miss watching him play, especially against the Vikes. He is a true great of the game that will be missed by all. It will take a long time for me to get as excited about a Vikings/Packers match up with out him playing in it. GL Green Bay and their fans, and I actually mean that.

the fucking guy gets hurt if you blow air on him wrong.
  14. at least we agree on the repesct part

that being said, when you guys had warren moon and chris carter, those guys were great to watch

and now you have AP, lets see where he goes...
  15. I hate the Pack the way I hate every other team that is a rival of Minnesota(Vikings, Twins, Gophers, etc.) but I have always cheered for Favre when he is not playing the Vikings. He is one of the few that I will admit to liking. I respect any player in any sport that gives it their all, but I would never consider myself a fan of them. I consider myself a Brett Favre fan and I will truly miss him.

Those were some fun days in Minnesota with Moon and Carter and lets not forget RC the Uncola, Randall Cunningham....... Should be fun watching AP run wild for years to come(hopefully).
  16. I, along with green bay, along with brett, will shed a tear the first snap of the regular season for the green bay packers, When #4 is not in the huddle of that game.

  19. I'm right there with you Badgers. I grew up in Madison and can't even remember watching a Packer game when #4 wasn't behind center. It's going to be surreal watching the Pack play now and they're going to seem like a completely different team to me. So many great memories. fuck.
