gunfire by my house WOW

    Well it's late, and i'm kinda rattled awake, so i figured since i haven't posted here in a while i'd share my story.

    I'll start by saying i live in a quiet neighborhood. Relatively old, most of the homes were built in the 70s..basically not a young crowd with the exception of the few teenagers that live across the street.

    So i'm sitting in the living room watchin tv with the wife, when i hear gunshots go off what sounds like right outside my house. My wife goes...what's that sound? I say...THAT'S FUCKIN GUNSHOTS GET THE KIDS!! she goes running to the kids room and gets them down on the ground...kids cryin everyone upset.

    So i call the cops and let them know there were gunshots can they send someone out to see what's up? Then again...another round of gunfire goes off.

    By now i'm starting to think that it's the neighbor's kids across the street playing with a gun shooting it in the air or something. I mean...who shooting at a person, waiting 15 minutes and shooting again. So i go outside this time steaming and ready to yell. Nobody out there.

    So my wife is super worried, and i'm tryin to calm her down with the above reasoning. She looks out the window (sneakily) and says...there's kids standing in the street. I say...see..can't be that serious...if gunfire erupting nobody's gonna stand around in the street waiting....obv they know the cops are coming.

    Well i was wrong on both my thought processes. I go outside to find 5 squad cars in front of their house. there's like 8 kids in the street with cops questioning them and other cops taking pictures of car damage. As far as i can tell the kids got shot at and the cars got hit.

    Nobody's home at the house now, i'm guessing the cops told them to leave for the night. But either way...in the moment it didn't bother me...now the more i'm sitting here, i'm realizing it's kinda creepy that that just happened.

    your neighborhood sounds about like mine...but we had a 18yo kid get killed on the street just walking with his buds...just graduated full ride scholarship for football..the bullet was ment for one of the guys he was walking with...the kid that shot is on americas most wanted top 10...still on the run

    There's gunfire by my house almost every day.

    But it's just people sighting their guns in for whitetail season or shooting clays. That's a little different from your situation.

    Well when i went outside i obv didn't think there was a danger to me at all. I thought it was kids bein stupid and considering i got 2 small kids freaked out in the house over it, i was pretty pissed.

    Does nobody know how to fight anymore? People risking their lives in prison over arguments that could easily be settled by a 2 piece combo.

    Kids nowadays dont know how to fight....too f'n lazy....video games to blame I think....WOW is probably the biggest source of laziness, obesicty, diabeties,....fighting with mean they would have to physically excert themselves..

    Bolded portion #1: Lol, if people are shooting guns in your quiet neighborhood, that's generally going to be pretty dangerous. Maybe they are idiotic enough to "just be playing around" (notice that this is highly unlikely, since if they wanted to goof around with their guns, they probably would have gone somewhere else, like some park or back alley somewhere else, not a quiet neighborhood, to shoot their guns for fun, to lower their chances of getting the cops called on them. ANd if they are still shooting 15 minutes later, you can be almost 100% sure they aren't just goofing around. Even retards know that you can't fuck around for more than 2 or 3 minutes in a quiet neighborhood with guns, before the cops will arrive and arrest you...

    Bolded part #2: I guess not after Bruce Lee was fucking SHOT TO DEATH...

    lol. This was an everyday thing at my old house. you wouldnt have know what o do with yourself there. I finally moved to a nice neighborhoood in OCT though.

    Yeah that is kinda creepy man. I dont what is up with kids and people in general. It's like no one has common sense any more.

    I guess i'm starting to show my age at 28...but when i was growing up...in a tough section of NJ none the less.....we just didn't pull guns.

    We fought....and there was a winner and a loser....the loser could either come back for more or let it go.

    not saying people didn't get shot, just not a common occurance. i think it actually shows weakness to pull a gun....all that says to me is your scared to fight and lookin for an easy scare tactic. It's just stupid to me to risk ur life in prison based on someone made you mad.

    Although i will say, if something were to happen to one of my family members on the account of that kind of stupidity, i probably myself would be spending the rest of my life in prison

    i just got back from my friends funeral. some guy pushed him to the ground and shot him in the back of the head cuz they got in an argument over the coward stealing a fucking camera.

    people are cowards. cant stand up for themselves so they let bullets do the talking. fucked up world
