  1. To all of us who have who have earned the title "US Marine" Happy Birthday Devil Dogs!!! This is something that all Marines hold close to them. Every year there are 3 things that happens on November 10th, the Cake cutting cermony which is one of the most honored traditions in the Marine Corps that represent the old passing it's knowledge and the reigns of corps to the younger troops, the Marine Corps Ball(where everyone gets shitfaced drunk and tells war stories) and the Birthday message that General Lejune wrote in 1921.

These tradtions is what makes the Marine Corps thrive. It is "esprit de corps" that makes the Marines bond and create an unbreakable brotherhood that is held tightly together by camaraderie. This bond can only be understood by the people who have earned the title, "Marine" This my friends is a honor and I will never forget my place in this sacred part of history.

Here's to you Sweetness and don't get to drunk tonight but since Marines were born in bar it is expected(Tun Tavern in philly, PA)

So with this said, I will leave you with General Lejune's Birthday message!!! Once again Happy Birthday Sweetness!!

"On November 10, 1775, a Corps of Marines was created by a resolution of the Continental Congress. Since that date many thousands of men have borne that name Marine. In memory of them it is fitting that we who are Marines should commemorate the Birthday of our Corps by calling to mind the glories of its long and illustrious history.

The record of our Corps is one which bear comparison with that of the most famous military organizations in the world's history. During 90 of the 146 years of its existence the Marine Corps has been in action against the Nation's foes. From the Battle of Trenton to the Argome, Marines have won foremost honors in war and in the long era of tranquility at home generation after generation of Marines have grown gray in war in both hemispheres, and in every corner of the seven seas so that our country and its citizens might enjoy peace and security.

In every battle and skirmish since the Birth of the Corps, Marines have acquitted themselves with the greatest distinction, winning new honors on each occasion until the term "Marine" has come to signify all that is highest in military efficiency and soldierly virtue.

This high name of distinction and soldierly repute we who are Marines today have received from those who preceded us in the Corps. With it we also received from them the eternal spirit which has animated our Corps from generation and has long been the distinguishing mark of Marines in every age. So long as that spirit continues to flourish Marines will be found equal to every emergency in the future as they have been in the past, and the me of our nation will regard us as worthy successors to the long line of illustrious men who have served as "Soldiers of the Sea" since the founding of the Corps."

  5. Happy B-Day Marines. I have had the pleasure of working with the Marines on a couple occasions. Once with the Task Force that landed at Camp Rhino, Afg, in Dec 2001 and again with RCT-7 in Al Asad, Iraq 2004. They were always very professional and great to work with.

  13. If any Marines will be attending the Marines Ball at Planet Hollywood in Myrtle Beach, let me know. I will be working it and can most likely hook you up with draft beer for free all night (depending on who's bartending).

We can also go out and hit up Broadway at the Beach after.
  14. Isn't it suppose to be an open bar anyway. All of mine were open bars...free booze all night long

  15. IDK to be honest. I worked the other night and one of the bartenders said something about upsellin and shit for it. I had originally thought that everything was already paid for.

I am not 100% sure, but if it is then I guess PM and we can take some shots when my boss's aren't looking haha.

    HBD MARINES!!!!!!!!!
