  1. Paczki's (punch-key) are a deep fied fruit filled donut. It's a polish american tradition to consume these the day before Ash Wednesday. The idea was to get rid of all the lard and sugar before lint started.

  6. i will begin my dinner tonite with pankcakes, maple syrup and bacon and top it off with paczki in support of my Polish american friends.

    We always had some excellent paczkis growing up in detroit, powder sugar bavarian cream or glazed apple
  8. I was able to find a Polish Market down here in the Clearwater area. But it's nothing like Detroit, most of the people at my office don't even know what a Paczki is.
