It's the weekend and I don't really care this is too important. Need to keep this story alive, in honor of the slain soldiers. Read this article and let me know if still you don't think Hasan's a terrorist.

Fort Hood shooting: Texas army killer linked to September 11 terrorists

Major Nidal Malik Hasan worshipped at a mosque led by a radical imam said to be a "spiritual adviser" to three of the hijackers who attacked America on Sept 11, 2001.

Hasan, the sole suspect in the massacre of 13 fellow US soldiers in Texas, attended the controversial Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls, Virginia, in 2001 at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother's funeral was held there in May that year.
The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations. -
He was yelling "God is great" as he killed people, no he is not a terrorist and it has nothing to do with his religion......the media in this country is such a joke it's pathetic.
-
The media will downplay his religion, but holy fuck... you are a fucking radical if you listen to rush limbaugh or like sarah palin.
-
looooooooooooooool
-
Im not sure how the murder of 13 people in a terrorist act is funny
-
You can throw a dude out of the Army because he likes to put dick in his mouth but you can't throw a guy out because we're at war with him. Fucking ridiculous.
-
this was a domestic terrorist attack by a muslim extremist... this fact is literally undebateable regardless of what the sidestream media tells you or attempts to spin this... no doubt that all of the links to muslim extremist groups this person undoubtedly has will be revealed when the FBI rapes all of his computers and other communication devices that he has used for intel... and no matter what is exposed, if osama bin laden actually lives at his house, it will be spun that he isnt connected to muslim extremists... but the real extremists in america are conservatives, sarah palin, rush limbaugh etc... its so fucking pathetic

Things that are not funny:
Anything that this guy did.
The senseless killing of anyone.
And people who continue to think that every bad thing done by a Muslim is somehow associated with 9/11. It is not funny, and really - it is pathetic.
----------
The guy who shot up the office in Orlando yesterday was: Hispanic, unemployed, in his 40's and an engineer. But if he was Muslim, you can be damn sure that the rest of his "labels" wouldn't matter because somehow - the senseless killing of innocent people is apparently the domain of only the Muslims.
You want to make things better - stop blaming "groups" or "labels" for the actions of psychotic individuals. And stop looking for connections - unless of course you approved of the McCarthy-era tactics. -
Okay fine, he's one of 1.2billion individuals who have individually decided to hate me because I don't think exactly like they do.
I'm sorry Spanky, but I don't give a shit if the government says we're not at war with Islam for the sake of foreign policy. We are at war with Islam. Every muslim hates every westerner. It's what they're conditioned to think from cradle to grave. Get a fucking grip on reality and kill this dishonest PC bullshit. -
maybe we should put all muslims in internment camps as well. what you think?

1.2 billion people hate you? that has to be a lowball estimate. more likely over 6 billion -
good post Spanky. lol that any of that even needs to be said. in the words of bfactor, "f white people."
-
Not sure that the guy in Orlando killed anyone bc he was hispanic, in his 40s or an engineer. It apparently did have something to do with being unemployed though. The guy at Ft. Hood also appears to have acted bc of his beliefs. That makes them relevant
-
^^^If anyone(black, out of work hispanic, chinese etc) went to the same mosque with some of the people that pulled off the largest act of terrorism in history and then themselves went off and shot 13 people dead while screaming "God is great", there is reasonable cause to question whether it was a terrorist act or not.
-
So then we should blame the shootings in Orlando on Bush or Obama because they caused this guy's unemployment?

Because that's already what started with the guy at Ft. Hood. 99% of the blame should stay with the individual - but 50% of the blame will end up with his Muslim connections. -
you are truly 100% delusional... a man shoots over 40 soldiers killing over 13 who just happens to be a muslim who just happens to be screaming "allah akbar" while shooting US soldiers. he just happens to have connections to radical islamic mosques directly related to the 9/11 terrorist attack while our country is at war with radical muslim extremists who's only goal is to bring about armageddon and will never ever ever stop and you think that these are all completely unrelated... the guy was passing out copies of the quaran and trying to give away his furniture before this happened... it wasn't an act of blind rage, this was completely planned and thought out before it happened and you don't think that it has any connection whatsoever to the muslim radical extremist cause... seriously please wake up

He's not delusional, he's just dishonest. He says what he thinks he's supposed to instead of telling the truth.
-
If he indeed has ties to the Mosque where the terrorist from 9/11 studied and was there with some of them, and was yelling "God is great" while shooting 13 people.... If he lost his mind from stress and did this and just happened to be muslim, then that is different. Can't stand when people go all ACLU defending people blindly just as bad as the people accusing.
-
no it wasn't bush or obama's fault in either case

the man in fla apparently went back to his former workplace bc he thought he was mistreated. I didn't say it was a valid reason, it was apparently the reason he did it.
Hasan appears to have been motivated by his religious views and reportedly shouted allah akbar before opening fire. His acts don't apply to all Muslims anymore than they apply to all Virginia Tech grads (btw, is Va Tech cursed or something? the dude on campus kills 30 plus people, another student chops off a girls head in the cafe, a pair of couples are murdered off campus and now Hasan, weird coincidences)I am not sure on what basis you exclude his religious views from his motive. -
so what do you wanna do Aaron. kick all muslims out of the military. maybe kick them out of the country.
What you want is the sins of some muslims to be paid for by all muslims -
thats fine with me. but the hatred of all muslims put forth by several members o this site is quite obvious and disgusting. but I guess that's the mentality the Nazi's had. There'd be a lot of Oters who would make fine Nazi's. autob is def one
-
idk spanky, i disagree here, i mean we are all part of a group in some way but when i see the same things happening from the same type people over and over, it would be insane to think its mere coincidence.

I don't hate all muslims, I hate all muslims back. It's Islam that decided that i should be put to death because I'm not muslim. I'm perfectly justified hating people who stop whatever they're doing and pray for my death several times per day.
