    It's called Jesus Camp and I have only seen this preview and read some reviews on it. I was wondering if it's really as scary as it looks.

    I consider myself extremely fortunate that my parents didn't try to influence me one way or the other (with respect to religion). I was able to approach it with an open mind and draw my own conclusions. Sadly, these kids were not even given the opportunity to think for themselves. They are clearly being brainwashed and this shouldn't be tolerated just because they operate under the cover of christianity.

    I have no problem with parents telling their children things like, "treat others as you would like to be treated". I take exception when they start drilling all sorts of irrational, potentially dangerous beliefs (not supported by evidence) into their heads.

    Did they not have the kids responding to the questions (yelling)"Will you Die for Jesus!" "YES!" That amongst other things was frightening, why would you do that to kids? I can't wait to watch it in it's entirety.

    It's people like these that Frist and Co. are catering to when they back-door online gaming legislation through the Senate. And the scary part is that they make up a sizable portion of the American voting public.

    Gluttony is not a term used for this sort of thing.

    So, they want a war? This all looked like something an islamic or hebrew cult would do. Tell their children that these non-jesus lovers (there is no middle ground, either youre one of them or you hate jesus) are trying to take things away from them. We wonder why the middle east is such a mess, its because of extremists that refuse to accept another's point of view.

    Its called predjudice (but probably not spelled) and its no differnet from race and only causes hate. The worst part is that these people probably think they are better than others. I cant even think about his anymore, it just gives me less and less hope.

    Did anyone notice a lack of teenagers in there? When I was like 10 I went to church and was a good kid and all that, wait till those kids get 14 and half them are all arounf fowl ups, 25% learned to think for themselves, and maybe another 25% stay extremest Christian, out of those probably 1% will be willing to go to extreme measures to prove their point. I wouldn't be that worried.

I read a review at imbd and it was talking about them throwing mugs that had "government" written on it.. I agree that it is brainwashing and wrong, kids at that age shouldn't be exposed to those extremist views, they won't fully comprehend it. But really.. I wouldn't be worried either, this is a very small portion that has those extremist kinds of beliefs.
