throw some ginger in that and you're there
-
Makes your deuces mushy and foul(er) smelling.
-
my wife made an awesome kenwa salad the other night, I'll post when she gets home.
-
does the blendtec make it really smooth or is it a little lumpy/gritty?

what made you choose it over a vita-mix? -
did you put a whole lime in that?
-
hopefully it tastes good (im sure it does). However, its appearance reminds me of baby food
-
Bacon Explosion With Cheese
2 lbs bacon
2 lbs italian sausage
1 lb prosciutto, salami, and pepperoni
8 oz velveeta
1 bottle barbecue sauce
you know what to do -
that's legit.
try bananas, strawberries, blueberries, squeezed orange juice, ice, and a little greek yogurt. blend that up and it actually tastes good. then you can just eat a spinach salad and call it good. -
when I do it, it's 1.5 bananas, ~6 strawberries, and a handful of blueberries. then the ice/OJ/yogurt. I doubt it has more sugar than a can of mountain dew. grapes have 3x as much sugar in them as strawberries.

to be fair I don't drink those things for the health benefits. I would eat a salad long before I'd make a spinach/kale smoothie lol
Reason: 3x!!!!!!! -
fwiw, mountain dew has an absolute fuckload of sugar

lol, fuck everyone I'm gonna make a strawberry banana smoothie and it's gonna be super unhealthy!
-
natural sugars like from fruit are not unhealthy, they are actually good for your brain and necessary.
-
It's my roommate's so I didn't have any say in the matter. I think his cousin recommended it.
Yeah I'm the opposite. I'd rather drink a green smoothie and eat fresh berries. Would probably be good to switch it up here and there though. -

Quit playin around and get one of these:
Omega VRT-350 (low RPM auger style, takes 5-10 minutes longer but less froth and oxidization of the juice, plus its quiet when running)
Breville Juice Fountain Elite (high RPM centrifuge style, super fast but more froth and slightly lower quality tasting juice, loud like a vacuum when running)
carrot juice is so damn good and they are one of the easiest veggies to juice. I put 2 large carrots in the mix pretty much every time I juice. Dont go overboard with the carrot juice tho, your skin will start to get an orange tint if you drink straight carrot juice daily for several months. -
^^ What he said. I bought a Juicer 3 weeks ago today (not as expensive as the epic models above but I live in Malaysia and am not sure how long I'll stay or whether it's worth it to take with me when I go) and have used it every day since. It will change your life getting all the grit and pulp and shit out of there.
I'm the one that posted about juice fasting recently. I made it a week before I decided that I liked food, but have been eating one solid meal a day and juicing 2-3x a day. From July 6 to today I'm down 17 pounds, running a lot, and feeling great.
There's no Kale in Malaysia, but I've been running lots of different juices. Default green is basically
Cucumber
Celery (chinese celery is fantastic)
Green Apple
Half a lemon, peeled
Ginger
Red Spinach (green is fine too)
and occasionally something like starfruit
Tastes fine, keeps me going, At lowest weight since Feb 2006 and going in the right direction... -
oh, that's green apple slices. I'm dumb
-
i have a juicer and want to upgrade to something like setherson has. I hate seeing how much of the fruit/vegetable i throw away after juicing.
Anyway, anyone who has never juiced or blended straight up fruit/vegetable smoothies...they aren't going to taste good at first...they are going to be almost unbearable, atleast for me, for a while. Suffer through it, on't stop doing it! It took like 5 days for my taste buds to adjust. and when they did, i started to crave them like i craved any of my favorite foods. -
Almond milk
Spinach
Frozen berries
ISO Whey Protein
Soooo good. Pushes my workout
