  1. my boss just got a dui while im riding shotgun.

how do i get em out?

process? tittay bar + zanies = trouble. hopefully the cat will blow under the limit. but iff not how can i get him out? asap.

officer had to stop for accident on highway - 2 hr interlude. when he blew at the station 3hrs later. .07!!! booya.
  2. He should refuse. Maybe they will charge him and release him. In this state we can just issue a ticket for dui and let them go or take them to jail.
  3. if you can tell him not to blow and take the suspended liscence(only if he's more than likely over the limit)

    Zs are garbage
  4. he's not getting out till morning. he has to suffer the drunk tank.
  5. are you typing on your phone from the car while he is out walking a line or something?

I think he is, reminds of the thread where the kid is at the hotel and there are two chicks in the hot tub outside his room and he was asking us for advice

    both threads = FAIL

I would assume if he refuses the cops will take him in and hold for the max time before charging, if he just takes his ticket and shows the police respect he will be out in less than 2 hours
  10. well, i was gonna tell u to refuse breathalizer and request a blood test but since u wanna pop pillls.....not a good idea
  11. Grab the gun under the seat and shoot your way out. Save the boss.
  12. lol @ out in less than 2 hours...no shot.

tell him to refuse, and then go ahead and call a dui lawyer. They will have their own people come in and do blood work, which if it comes up clean will get you out of trouble.
  13. This matter has been discussed dozens of time on this board.

Refusing the breathalyzer is a state to state issue. There is no uniformity. Certain states like Mass you definitely want to refuse. Other states the penalties are harsher if you don't blow.

They take away your licenses in most places (if not all) but in some states is bascially automatically pleading guilty as opposed to other states where it's considered something different.

Don't know if this completely true, but I was told by my father, who was a cop that, After drinking the blood alcohol content can continue to rise for a few hours while the affects of the alcohol are wearing off.
The reason I state this is, when I was 18 I was pulled over and passed the field sobriety test. The cop was set to let me go but my room mate decided to be a dick. We were underage and had very warm beer in the car. The friend argued that he bought the beer in Idaho where he was of age (19 back then), and refused to pour it out on the side of the road. So, off to jail I go where I blew a .013, which made no sense. The lmit was .01 back then.
The test took place at around 3 a.m. and I hadn't had any booze since around 6 p.m. or so. I felt completely sober and was pulled over for different reasons. the only reason that the cop asked about drinking is that we were returning from Idaho back to Washington just after the bars closed.

I def laughed... never heard of anyone getting out in 2 hours tbh... and most states have like a 12 hour minimum for DUI related offenses

FWIW I don't believe the OP's story at all.

In WV it is an automatic loss of driver's license for a driver to refuse the intoxilyzer. I think it is that way in a lot of places but am not sure

the best way to get him out of it is to shell out the money for a dui defense attorney
  23. depends when you stop drinking taco, he coulda stopped like an hour or so before they started driving, but yea if you leave bar right after last drink it will rise for at least an hour or so i believe
  24. he was never charged. the cop had to stop(with him in car) at an accident that killed about 2-3hrs. by the time they got to the station and tested he passed.

state of washington, if you don't blow, you are presumed to be >.15, which is a mandatory sentence of 48 hours incarceration instead of 24 hours. meh....
