    Hello OT,

    I've asked for your help before with great results so I thought before I head to the furniture store I'd ask your opinion. If you personally own or know of some great products in the following categories, please post a picture and link if possible to wherer I can order said item. My bed and couch are the two most important things, so if you know of some very comfortable models I'd appreciate your input.

    I'm open to any colors because right now my house is all painted white so I can change that easily. Looking for the best value I can, but am willing to pay extra for superior products.

    Bedroom:

    Bed (I'm going to get a queen, and prefer firm mattresses. I've been looking into a sleep number beds but any advice is appreciated)
    Queen Bedroom sets
    Lamps

    Living Room:

    Couch/Recliners: Looking for a very comfortable sectional, or a couch and a couple of recliners.
    Coffee Table
    Lamps
    HDTV - 52-60 inch - Kind of a newbie on what the best is to buy for primarily watching sports (plasma, LCD, LED?)
    Home Theater

    Also, I'm putting a recording studio in my basement and want to put cool framed posters throughout.... so if you have any I like all types of music.

    Depends... How's the lighting in your room? Plasmas have glare issues in bright rooms but if you are in a dark room or can control the light they are fine. As far as picture quality goes you can't beat a nice plasma.

    LED's are far better than Plasmas or LCD's. Period.

    beds: if you like firm, then i'd get a regular mattress, maybe a pillow top, it's a little softer b/c you don't want a completely firm mattress (it'll cause you back probs!)
    if you want a cheap bedroom set, try jcpenny. but i don't think the quality was that good honestly. go to bedroomsets.com and get a set with "white glove delivery" they'll set it up (the company is legit, i worked for them for a short period of time!)

    tv: i can definitely help you out here. LED all the way. plasma is absolute crap now, lcd is eventually going to die due to the led, and 3d tvs are stupid as you have to wear glasses just to watch them. so led is your best bet. i bought a tv a couple months ago and was set on a samsung....turns out LG had better LEDs. I got a fully backlit LED (which is much better than edge lit) and it was at a better price than the samsung. Now they have more variety, but any fully lit LED is going to be just fine.

    try overstock.com for some furniture as well. they have all kinds of shit. and shipping is only 2.95 for an ENTIRE order, no matter what you buy.

    I like Ikea's stuff for a good value on modern furniture. I haven't used their mattresses before but I know they are low priced and some people love em.
