i will try to be brief....first of all i know it is silly to expect somebody you dont know to pay up on a bet made at the table, which is why i rarely do it. however, i was farely certain about winning the bet and i also would have paid him had i lost, thus the reason i am upset!!

so i need your help....here is what happend=

was playing a tourney on stars....made a big bet into a multi way action pot...one of the players was taking a while to decide when the culprit typed this in....

Dealer: kiwimann, it's your turn. You have 15 seconds to act
dennis663: GO, HE HAS THE STRAIGHT

so i got a bit annoyed and asked him not to talk during hand....to which he said something like "why not? i am allowed to say that" i think you see where this is leading! so anyway i ask him if he wants to bet. He says yes. i say $500 and he agress... i tell him that i will email support so they can make a ruling on the issue. and this is the reply i got from stars...

So i went to his table to tell him he lost the bet and try to get him to transfer it. and this is what he had to say...among other things! i just thought this part was particularly funny

Have everyone go to every table he is at and chat him to death? I mean that is why i joined P5's right?? Or, should i just forget about it? Any other ideas???

Scott, I never make bets at the table with anyone (unless I know them).

I am unfamiliar with the rules, did stars say that a bet is binding but he did not know so next time he will have to pay up. Or did they just say that its inapproperiate to talk about a hand while its playing?

Sounds like hes 15 years old too making a reference to elementary-hs classes.
