How can ESPN put the Dan Patrick show on instead of The Herd with Collin Cowherd?
Dan Patrick show just sucks -
Bro...April fools day was a couple days ago.
-
Is this serious? lol Cowherd
-
Cowherd is not a sports journalist to be taken seriously. He is an entertainer that readily admits he does not believe what he spouts on the air. His show is so formulaic; take a hot topic create a strong opinion (often times contrarian) and do not budge while citing weak or unknown sources.

Pretty much. I cringe when people link me to Cowherd quotes/articles in a similar way to Skip Bayless. They know how to get their name seen and people to watch their show. They don't HAVE to know anything about the topics, they just have to be bold and keep their stance.

Dude, Dan Patrick isn't on ESPN.
I guess they overlap. -
i cant stand Cowherd's voice, while Big Dan's is soothing like a dark rum
-
Bill Simmons > Dan Patrick ..................> Cowherd
-
If you aren't a fan of the herd you take sports too seriously and need to stfu imo.
-
Love Cowherd.
-
this thread fucking sucks.... DP Is so much more wittty, funny, enterataining, and has better takes then that douche cowherd.

You are saying that Cowherd does not take his hot sports opinions seriously?
The guy sucks because:
1. He hosts a sports only radio show.
2. He is an uninformed sports douche.
I admit I am spoiled because I found the greatness of 1310 years ago, but I know what is good sports radio, and it isn't this show. -
No he's not obsessed with sports the way you'd think an espn host would be.

He's hilarious and is good at taking a step back and giving a practical view on most issues that others nerdy hosts would be too face deep in numbers and hooblah to see.
He makes a lot of good points all the time and is entertaining. I know he looks goofy and takes some time getting used to but the hate here is funny to me.
lol see this doesn't bother me, I'm not even a brady fan but I think this stuff is great.Originally Posted by hockeywonk

edit: hilarious just as I was typing this I hear him say to danny woodhead "does brady glow?" -
Dan Patrick is much better than the Herd but I do find myself clicking back and forth in the morning depending on who is the guest.
-
Both suck so much
-
lol. this nails it. i still listen in time to time cause its pretty hilarious sometimes. im gonna email espn to give me the audio of the feb 22 show. will post. just amazingly funny

The Herd > Scott Van Pelt (Ryen is a solid 2nd mic) > Dan Patrick > Mike and Mike.
Dan Patricks minions try way too hard, its kind of annoying.
