    Does anyone listen to this fool? A friend told me it was a good show so I listened to some yesterday and some today and I wanna knock this guy out.

    He's no Kornheiser but his show stinks in a different kind of way...

    trueyalose-----Youve got it all wrong.......

    first of all.......I smoke weed.......plenty of it........and i know he can be high and mighty about it sometimes, which is about the only time i dont like to listen to him. But if you remember back to when Ricky quit, he DID quit so he could smoke pot. What reason do you think he really quit?!?!? I think NFL players should be able to .....Its rediculous that they arent........when i tore 2 ligaments in my knee playing football I wouldve never gone to sleep for 5 months if i didnt smoke a bunch to bring me down before bed......I cant imagine pro players who arent popping painkillers like PeZ throughout the season......I think weed would be a much safer painkiller myself. What Colin says about weed/weed smokers is that they are harmless,but their work ethic for the most part is sorely lacking, and if you smoke it habitually and you wonder why youre not moving up in the world you should take a look in the mirror. What is wrong with that statement?? And he says things to get people talking........if he took the majority opinion on everything and everyone called and agreed that would be pretty damn boring. Just my opinion........there are better episodes to have heard,.......I do know that. But if youre a football fan, college and NFL no show gives you better stuff throughout the year......

    lol......3/4 of the knicks.......and they just added two local smokers from the NW......Jerome James and Nate robinson..........make that 10/12 of the knicks.......enjoy watching Jerome James embarass himself for 5 years by the way.....

    but ricky s reasons for leaving were that he couldnt stand to play for an organization that would not let him do what he wants and dictate how he lives his life........he quit immediately after he tested positive again, making it a manditory 4 game suspension. He decided to quit rather than wait out the suspension/face the ridicule of being a weed smoker by all the haters...... HE WOULD NOT HAVE QUIT IF HE WASNT FACING A 4 GAME SUSPENSION FOR SMOKING WEED.....which i think is a disgrace and a joke myself to lose your livelyhood for doing something harmless like smoking the reefer......I have ricky's back on all of this and it sounds like you side with the Weed side of most weed issues yourself, and i do too. But I do understand not remembering him quitting because of facing the suspension/it being public that he was busted for weed.......short term memory loss does happen

    Just b/c the people you know are lazy doesn't mean everyone is...bad generalization...

    Cowherd is good for two reasons in my opinion:
    (1) As Saul said he always has an opinion and is willing to defend it. In fact, Cowherd always says to be a good radio host you just have to have an opinion, whether it's right or not, just have one and be willing to discuss it.
    (2) His football coverage is great.

    But he also has one major flaw:
    (1) He doesn't talk about UK basketball nearly enough. (f Randolph Morris)

    Colin is the friggin man. After he took over for Kornheiser I was on the fence with him. By far and away, in terms of talk radio, he is superiour fougettaboutit.

    Oh and the West coast is in a different league, and the SEC dominates.

    as opposed to the Pac 10? please. If you combined the leagues the SEC has 7 of the top 10 teams out of the 2, maybe 8.

    SEC overrated? let me guess your a big 12 or pac homer or something right? How can the SEC be overrated since its nearly impossible for one of their schools to go the the title game under BCS format? An SEC school has maybe 1 or 2 easy games the other 9 are bowl teams.

    But I love your blanket statement with no backup.

    you guys are blind to the obvious..............

    the SEC has 5 doormats that are automatic wins for any ranked teams.........the bottom 5 of Pac 10 destroys the the bottom 5 of the SEC by a landslide.......and that makes USC that much more impressive.........aint no Vanderbilts/post Eli Ole Miss' around here

    Ok, this is getting ridiculous. You are making arguments based on your opinion that the worst teams in the Pac 10 are better than the worst teams in the SEC. That is not the way I usually compare conferences, but since you did, we'll break it down.

    You don't have much of an argument. KY, Vandy, Miss. St are very bad in the SEC. Washington, Stanford, and Arizona are very bad in the Pac 10. Wash. St doesn't seem to be too good this year either. Ole Miss? They would go 5-4 or 6-3 in the Pac 10.

    I was looking at a respected football publication the other day that ranked every team and the SEC had 8 of the top 36. That leaves 4 in the bottom 83. Yeah, the Pac 10 is better........

    USC is the Pac 10's only top 15 team. The SEC has Tenn., Florida, Auburn, LSU, Georgia....

    You may wanna argue against the Big Least or some other conference, not the big dawgs.

    LOL.........Kentucky.........figures.

    But anyways.........I dont really think the PAC 10 is the best conference.......Its just my mission to make the back country hicks aware that there is football played west of Arkansas. And Washington St is a bowl team by the way........and the 3 you mentioned will all be much improved/competitive this year

    Are you trying to make yourself look worse? back country hicks? That wasn't stereotypical at all. Hard to believe that a person dumb enough to write that could make any money playing poker. I will be sure to look you up in the future.

    It is not just people in the Southeast who would say the SEC is better than the Pac 10. This is like comparing the ACC in basketball to the West Coast Conference. Dude, the SEC has 8 of the top 36 on the collegefootballnews preseason list. 8 of 36. 4 of the top 8. Are you kidding me?? Maybe they are biased, so I checked out the AP. 5 of the top 16, Pac 10 had USC. Maybe they are biased too. USA Today wouldn't be biased. They have to satisfy from coast to coast. 5 of the top 15. USC is still ranked first.

    You are an idiot. You started out with this eastcoast bias shit for no f'n reason anyway, then you made an idiotic statement. I wish bodog had a buddy list.
