    I'm just an idiot, technically, I guess Puma, Mountain Lion, Cougar are more or less all the same. I've just always seen and heard Mountain Lion used most commonly used around here.

    Those big cats can go fuck themselves. Anyone getting butthurt about them getting killed doesn't realize what those cats will do to your pets, children, and you. Very dangerous animals.

    I agree, everything needs some kind of predator even if it is human. I was waiting and hoping for a response of someone getting all butt hurt about this thread.

    Yeah I don't support people have pits really either. I don't know enough about them to know whether they are controllable, there seem to be different opinions about it, but I know some jack up kids and other pets. Regardless, those big cats are assholes and people having pets that kill other pets and other people has nothing to do with the fact that these cats should be killed whenever they are close to where people live.

    One of my hunting buddies traps all winter, mostly beaver and bobcat, and he has like 90 traps set. So far this year, he's gotten around 30 cats. He recently caught a coug by accident...it happens rarely. He called the F&G, they came out tranquilized and released it. nbd

    that's a beast of mountain lion and not too far from where I live. I'm like 90% sure if they called the game warden he would have shown up, tranqued it, and taken it somewhere to release it, just like these guys did. such a bullshit citation.
