    I love how everybody thinks this guy was injured or off saving starving children or something. He was suspended and nobody cares. I hate this "Manny being Manny" shit.     i rly hate the way his coming back is being handled...it's like he's a hero who came back from an injury or something instead of a 50 game suspension for doing something illegal..unfortunately it seems to reflect on joe torre imo even tho you could tell he's hella pissed about the situation..<3 torre

    What about the other guilty MLBers who never even served a suspension? I could be wrong, but, can't think of any other players who have served a suspension for testing positive for steroids.

    I think the media now just expects more big names to be linked to have done it so it's no surprise anymore.. But ESPN has been hyping it up for a while, surprised they didn't do one of those 1 hour specials to countdown till manny takes the field today.

    just got back from the game. took my buddy and i 3 and a half hours to drive down there, but it was sf worth it. the atmosphere in the first inning was fucking insane. so many dodger fans there. yea manny had a bad game, but who cares, the dodgers won, and now I'm ready to have a kick ass 4th filled with beer, baseball, fireworks, and who knows maybe even a special lady friend if i get lucky. what more can you ask for?
