Early in the school-day, a school administrator announced over the public address system that a dangerous intruder had entered the school and that all students were to remain in their classrooms, away from windows and ideally huddled into one corner of the room. Once students were sufficiently terrified and secure in their classrooms, the search was conducted. According to a spokesperson for the Wolcott Police Department, no drugs were found during the search.

I don't even... -
how many class action lawsuits have been filed?
whoever made that decision better be fucking fired -
just when you thought people in authority couldn't get any dumber...
-
i cant articulate my thoughts well right now (eff writing)
basically those people need some serious punishments going toward them and if im a parent im never doing anything for that school again -
Think of the children sure we scared the shut out of them and made ten feel unsafe in a learning environment. But must be vigalent against those dirty drugs like marijuana.
-
drugs are bad mmmmmkay
-
This could definitely fuck with some kids pretty hard. Who knows what kind of fears or memories this might have provoked. I know if I thought there was a dangerous intruder cruising around when I was in high school it would have tripped me out pretty bad.

And how fucking stupid does the administration look when they found NO drugs? I mean if you are gonna go this fucking nuts to find some drugs you better have a drug problem at that school and you better find some fucking drugs. -
Seems like good practice for an actual emergency. Didn't you guys have fire drills?
-
Usually there is one kid who messes up and forgets their weed in their locker but I know this and I didnt even smoke weed back in school, you keep your shit on you if you have to carry at school. Everyone knows this.

Using scare tactics such as an intruder in the school is a bad move. Whoever made that decision needs to be re evaluated to see if they are fit for their position. Every kid that had a cell phone on them at the time texted or called their parents prolly scared out their minds. Parents were prolly freaking out. This is no good. -
pretty sure our school did this when i was in high school by just doing a scheduled fire drill.
not sure about the legality of it, but doing a fire drill seems like a much less traumatic way to go about it than this shit they pulled. -
We all know cops are pretty dangerous tho, lucky someone didn't get killed..
-
we just had Code Red's at our school which meant no one can leave the class room. 99% of the time this was a drug search.
-
iy yi yi... bet it was a rumor regarding marijuana as well
-
That makes no sense, the school has the right to search for drugs without lying about it. Just bring in the dogs
and what school has no drugs at all, this sounds made up -
damn democrats!
-
Sometimes I wonder if leaving the education field was a wise choice, this incident reminds me why it was. What a stupid idea, hope punishment follows.
-
Jesus Christ...........how fucking stupid can an entire group of people be? Not one person who had a say in this thought it might not be the best way to conduct a drug search? All of these idiots need serious repercussions from this. Especially with all the school shooting that have happened in the past this is no way to get your students to stay out of the halls. Commonsense one time.

jeez. whats wrong with our society today
