High School Reunions

    Just got home from my 10 yr HS reunion and it was surprisingly fun...our graduating class was only like 40 people so it was small enough where everyone could catch up with each other. Nothing too crazy happened but I was thinking that some of you psycho fuckers have to have some good stories of shit that happened at your reunions, so lets hear it.

    I will never go to a high school reunion. Everyone I give a shit about I keep in touch with. plus my graduating class was like 600 people

    I graduate like 2 years ago so I have not had mine but I know it will be ridiculous because most of the girls I graduated with have had kids already.

    mine is next year...being that like everyone i know from my graduating class is married or engaged, or doing something awesome, i'm prolly not gonna go..

    reunions can be fun - it's surprising how predictable the outcome was for people you grew up with lol - its always great to hear some of the old stories too

    lol well if it was like mine none of them will bring their husbands/wives or fiances... I thought that was kinda wierd

    It is in two years and I am not going to go. All the people that are worth keeping in touch with I am and we are going to go to Europe instead. Planning a trip to Amsterdam in 2011. Seems much more fun than rehashing shit with people I just do not talk to anymore.

    2nd...i don't have any exciting stories about my reunion...pretty standard...most guys got fat and are bald...most girls got fat and wear way too much makeup.

    Wtf is with all these people saying how they don't go/don't want to go.

    I can't wait to go to mine. High school was easily the funnest 4 years of my life. There's def tons of people from high school who I will not have seen since graduating that I would enjoy chatting with 10 years since I last saw them. I dunno I think high school reunions are a pretty awesome concept, I would never skip one willingly. Plus there's gonna be a shitload of hot asians at mine lol.

    I watched Grosse Pointe Blank the day before the deadline to RSVP for mine and that pretty much clinched it right there...

    It was interesting to see that the hot girls from high school looked in general really faded, and this one girl who was kinda cute and not in any honors classes is now a rich biomedical engineer who is suddenly super-hot. It was cool to catch up with a lot of the people, funny to hear the unemployed loser kids from my class telling everyone who would listen that they were professional poker players, cool to see that a lot of the kids who didn't do well in school are now very successful because they busted their asses for 10 years instead of riding their coattails, great to reconnect with a couple people that I wish I had never lost touch with and now talk to regularly, bizarre to see people who never spoke once to each other in high school hooking up (one of my best friends hooked up with one of my soccer teammates and they are still together 2.5 years later), fantastic to have an open bar and stand there with old friends speculating about which classmate is the professional killer waiting to off someone with a pen, etc.

    My class was less than 120 though so you pretty much knew 90% of the people...

    I'd definitely go, even just for the amusement to see how much people have swelled. And to settle your bets on who became the alkie, who the surprise 9, and who the richest kid in the class. And if it sucks, there's a bar and other like-minded individuals who will also think it sucks but probably offer up interesting ruminations in line for drinks.

    It was funny to see how much some people had changed...like athletes in high school are now fat etc. I was shocked at how non stuck up it was, i was expecting the worst I guess. I will post some group shots tomorrow but we didnt really take that many pics with our camera so I will have to wait til the other peeps post them.
