  2. What does it cost to get whatever equipment and containers needed for brewing? What does it cost to brew each batch (in terms of grains, hops, etc.)? How much does each batch yield?

Thanks in advance. That looks like fun.

For extract brewing the basic setup with a primary fermenter, secondary fermenter(glass carboy), bottling bucket, siphon, bottling wand, wort paddle, bottle capper, bottle brush, carboy brush, thermometer, hydrometer, plastic tubing, sanitizer airlock and stopper. should run you about 115$ at your local brew store or online, also needed is a five gal kettle or stock pot (preferably stainless) I picked one up for six bucks, and bottles & caps but I just save my own bottles. Anything with a pop top will work, preferably dark bottles tho. as far as ingredients you can buy kits with everything you need & step by step insrtuctions for anywhere fron 25 to 40$ at your brew store depending on the beer type/style. the batch I just made ^ cost me 24$ for the 6lbs DME, 3$ yeast,
2$ hops and 50 cents for the grains that they should mill fresh when you buy em. so call it 32$ for a batch that will make aprrox 50-53 beers. pretty good deal for good beer if you consider the cost of Newcastle these days.

Hells yes been wantin to go all grain full boils and bigger batches for a while now. I'm slowly compiling everything I need equipment wise for my setup, next on the list is
build immersion chiller. My buddy keeps telling me the most important thing about AG is make sure you hit all your temps, let us know how it comes out and post some pics
    when you do it.
