Sad - he was on the cover of SI last week... although I did wonder why he was possibly on SI cover during football season, and MLB playoffs when he's not even playing.

Article talked a lot about his family history - If I remember correctly his dad was in jail for drugs or something, and heard that another dude was living with his girl and taking care of wee honey badger who was starting to call the new guy 'dad'. He got out of jail and immediately killed the guy, and was sent right back to jail where he still is. The article put a positive spin on him, that he was doing a good job of rehabilitation - but that there were concerns over him ever being able to play in college since he let his image be used in a clubs promotional poster. He should have played FCS football this season, and jumped to the NFL. -
yea, thats some worthwhile police work.........

The right move would appear to be for him to come to UT with Gruden for a fresh start

obv i think it's unbelievably insane that a young guy with such talent is being fucked over by just weed but yeah, i can't believe (if that's true) that he opened the door while smoking weed. i mean for fuck's sake... about two weeks ago, i was at home (stoned, house smelled of weed too like it does 24/7) and there was a knock at the door. i casually walked up to the door and almost just swung it open without looking but at last second was like "that's dumb" and peaked out... to see a fucking hendo cop on my doorstep. oh fuck oh fuck! i had a slight panic attack thinking they were there for me (despite me not having any warrants) and kept quiet and never walked to the front door for a few more hours lol. -
Haaa awesome story.
I've been ridiculed for this on here but I never open my door for anybody unless I have a package coming. I'll do a quick check out the window but I see no upside to opening my door. It's either girl scouts/somebody selling something or Jehovah's witnesses or something else to waste my time. No thanks. -
That's one hell of an SI jinx.

Here's a good spot for this:

Hey willy, any insider thoughts how medical marihuana is going in Colorado. Can pretty much anyone make up an excuse to get a script from a doctor. You seeing any cases in the court system involving medical marijuana?

The laws here are very strict and detailed. The state formed a new Medical Marijuana Division of the Department of Revenue to regulate the industry. The state follows every piece of the plant from seed to sale including clippings and waste. They are very heavily regulated. Most of the lawsuits are over the interpretation of the regs or are from violations. There's a lot of legal work in licensing and compliance. I think that's why the feds haven't shown as much interest in shutting down dispensaries here as in California. I don't know, but I suspect it is pretty easy to get a card. I know a guy with cancer who has one and I have a few clients who have them. I'd say it's easy, but not crazy easy. You have to take your doctor's certificate to the Department of Health to get your card and they keep track of everyone who has a Rx. I suppose the state getting lots of tax money has something to do with that. Plus the licensing fees are huge in order to finance the administrative burden.

I do have to deal with it sometimes when a client has a card and is claiming an injury of some kind. If it comes into evidence, it can be a negative to some jurors.
We also have an amendment to legalize marijuana on the ballot, which is ahead in the polls 51-40. So there you have it, the state of weed in the Rockies. -
As much as I love living in MN id move there if its straight legal although I dont see the FEDs letting that slide
