LINSANITY BABY -
was just thinking this forum needs a Knicks thread
-
Bitches be in be the stands for this dude , awesome. oops another turnover , lol Melo
-
Daaamn Fields. Frame it
-
Someone needs to arrest Dwill cuz he just killed this story.
-
Amare didn't move a damn inch to try and help on that Humphries drive. Horrid.
-
uhh, so 1 of the best PGs in the league goes off on him from 3 and that kills the story?

Lin had 21 points 9 assists 7 rebounds and 4 steals with only 3 TOs... I'd say the story is on track still, regardless of the result of 1 game when they brought 2 players into the mix that weren't a part of that success (3 if you count J.R.)
Melo made 4 shots, had 6 TOs and was -16 for the game. if anyone is going to kill Linsanity, it will be him. -
melo comes back adn the knicks lose.
what a bum -
Game was really entertaining. Both teams played with high effort the entire game.

#linsing
(lin+losing) -
How long before the "trade Carmelo" talk begins, if it hasnt already? Its gonna take some time for the team to gel with him back. So much of his offense comes from isolation plays that its gonna fuck up the teams motion. Hes def gonna have to adjust.
-
cannot believe you are a Lin hater and a Tebow fanboy. sad.
-
I'm not a lin hater. I'm a lin hype hater. It's not a tebow thing. He's not a limited player. He is a legit NBA player, with size, quickness, and vision. His jump shot isn't terrible. His turnovers are a function of rookie-like indecision. There is no reason the story should be as big as it is. He can ball. The majority of the dislike is due to the blind ye people are having and just just admitting why they are so shocked and surprised is because he is some ivy league asian kid. Mostly the asian thing. It's all hush hush. "Oh it's not the asian thing, it's the he went to harvard thing" But he barely got recruited out of highschool. "oh it's not the asian thing, it's the he was ONLY 6'1, 175 state champion thing". What???? You can't tell me in 8 years his game took off to such a point that he overcame such an apparent lack of talent his recruiting implied he had. He got dogged all this time cuz he was asian and no one wants to admit it like they're some color-blind pious muthafuckers. That's what I hate. Me and Lin are cool.

dumbest post i've seen in this thread. Lin being asian is only a part of why he is so hyped. most of it is due to him going to the D league multiple times and being cut by 3 nba teams. You think those teams cut him because he's asian? Derron Williams had a career shooting night but at the end of the day he's going back to his shitty/overrated NJ Nets team as the Knicks are on the up and up.
And Lin didn't play 46 min yesterday vs an aggressive mavs defense. -
I don't know why it bothers people so much to admit that he's getting all this play cuz he's asian. Obviously he'd be a nice story if he was an undrafted white american or hispanic, but come on now, if he was black his rookie cards would not be going for 20 fucking k on e-bay. I embrace the fact that i love watching him cuz he's asian. It's funny as hell to see an asian ballin on ppl.
-
And Deron Williams just played for the 3rd night in a row and the 5th in 6 days. Say what you want about Lin, but not sure what the point is of trashing Deron Williams.

Lin can't play defense, that's abundantly clear. Quick point guards are going to give him a lashing. The knicks really missed shumpert tonight.

may of been an unfair knock. personally cant stand the player as i seem him as the antithesis of Lin as he has loads of talent(def an elite PG) but not a very good team mate off the court(puts himself in front of everyone else). already looking for a way to leave NJ
