How to Connect Cable TV to Monitor

    Google failed due to the following:

    I have a cable wire only, no box or cable box, receiver, etc.

    So just the cable wire.

    There is obviously no port for this in my monitor, so I'm wondering if there is a connector, etc. for this.

    The monitor is a HPw2207h

    i do NOT own a tv(at least here) step one get a TV tuner card for your comp or a monitor with a built in one such as samsungs T260HD . run the feed into this. if you don't have any cable service (you might have basic no tellin) put up a digital receiver antenna -$25 bucks up-

    The place in question has basic cable, just no digital receiver...

    i think i have one laying around. bought one way back when, but never ended up using it. i think they go for like 20 bucks or something.
