How do you know when you're having a heart attack?

    Twice I woke up to sharp pains in my chest. Now I can't go back to sleep and the left side of my chest feels tight.

    prolly just a bad case of indigestion or something. guess I should stop eating hamburgers and steaks every day.

    If I'm recalling the scene in Hatchet correctly, you should also start passing a ton of gas when you have a heart attack. Idk what else happens.

    I should be okay. I actually woke up at 4:00 from some horrendous pain. laid there for a while then decided to have sex with the wife. figured if I was goign, that's how I should go.

    I lived through some good sex so I should be fine.

    probably just that new york strip I had at Wildfire last night. mmmmmmm. I could go for another one right now.

    Didn't you visit my link? ANY symptom of chest pain should be considered SERIOUS, n you want another new york strip. Tsk tsk.
    BTW its not uncommon for people on the verge of a heart attack to die during sex/masturbation/taking a shit etc.

    heart attack is a very strong pain radiating on your right shoulder, neck and even on your back. it feels like an elephant is standing on you. Take an asprin and get some fresh air could helps some. If for any reason you have any morphine take that too, helps slow down the heart.

    Let's make one thing clear about all these medical problem threads.

    If you ever have something you are unsure of, have questions about "what does this mean" or "am I having a _____"

    Please just go to the doctor, why risk anything just go and get a person who has been trained to find everything that's wrong with you...

    Just go to the Doctor if you think something is wrong.

    My dad had a mild heart attack in 06 and he said it felt like real bad heartburn, but every case is different. John Mellencamp also had a heart attack too and sometimes you don't even know you've had one.

    and you say nothing good comes from you state.

    I had a burger for breakfast and a donut with hot chocolate for lunch, so if I didn't have a heart attack, I am definitely one step closer.
