How fast do you guys think gas will go back up since obama was elected and some republicans need a job(big oil orly?)
-
I'll say not fast at all, and it still has some going down to do.
-
How much more is it going to go down? Paid $1.89 today and loving it.
-
quit asking dumb questions just to ask them, by all accounts its going to be falling a little more and at least be steady for a while.
-
Oil was up 7 dollars today... Saudis say hey it's Tuesday let's cut production 10 percent
-
MUPP... gas and oil do not move simultaneously.
Gas is not being delivered yet, or is just starting to be, out of oil delivered at $65-75/bbl.
Gas should still drop a little further. -
TY mupp. I know the republican part was a jab/joke but seriously, does anybody think gas cuts in HALF if mccain isnt so far behind in the polls? HONESTLY?
-
oil is swinging like the rest of the market mupp, don't expect 100 dollar a barrel for a lil bit.
-
So iran ect just decided hey, why dont we cut these honest good folks in the US a break? We do love them afterall!
-
No no no, world market sucks value of everything went down, gas price went down.
-
Partly. But most of the price change is due to the strength of the dollar IMO
-
Based purely on fundamentals (as opposed to market sentiment) i'd say prices go down....(if infact who is going to be the next president has any bearing on oil prices)....
Obama is less likely to have/continue wars with middle eastern countries = less implied volatility in oil supplies = price goes down
Obama is less likely to stimulate economic growth due to higher taxes = price goes down
It'll probably move around it's current price and +/- 25% for a decent while though. -
A weekly report on gas station credit card swipes from MasterCard showed that U.S. gas consumption fell 1% in the week ended Oct. 24, and was down 6.4% from the same week a year ago.
So 6.4% less demand = 1/2 off gas????
So many things rely on gas daily. So some kids arent cruising so much....
