    IF you are I fucking hate you. Great 60 bucks for new grass effects and a new tackle mechanic. Fuck I am tired of people buying it every other year. Buy one this year than wait till 13 or 12 or something. Force EA to make a game that actually is different.

    It really sucks that they bought exclusive rights to the NFL so that Sega couldn't make any games in the NFL 2kx series. Now they can pretty much put out any game they want with no competition to force them to make significant changes to their product.

    I was waiting for the rights to be available to ESPN again until EA bought them for another 10 years. BS monopoly I hate that game so much. I'm playing Blitz the League II. It's much more entertaining.

    A few years ago I remember reading a ton of reviews that had NFL2K ahead of Madden. It was getting awesome reviews everywhere if I remember right. I wanna say it was around like 04, 05, or 06 but I cant remember the year. Or was the game called ESPN NFL2Ksomething? i cant remember the name. I wanna say TO was on the front but I could be wrong

    You're right. It had moss on one cover(dreamcast version) Then couple years later it was T.O.

    It was reviewed better across the board, that's why EA bought the NFL's rights.

    Not loving it so far tbh. The arcade feel is totally gone, which is fine itll just take some time to get used to.

    I liked the weapon icons so I know a player/teams strength...that's gone.

    Pro-Tak is a little excessive. There's never any quick wham bam tackle, the ballcarrier never goes down right away and fights all time...which again is fine, but unrealistic to an extent.

    Im fine with the gameplay speed, which is clearly slower than years past - but can be adjusted.

    I like the newer kind of harsher ratings so to speak.

    They could have added some new shit to the commentators. I still hear Collinsworth say "you ever had one of those clowns flip you upside down like that" 4x a game.

    I like how you now need to use the right stick to get past the linemen for a sack instead of the bumper buttons.

    people generally do rate the 2k games ahead of EA (people usually rate the nba2k series ahead of nba live, for instance)

    but the thing is: ONLINE FRANCHISE MODE

    the players do feel slower, i like playing as the chargers, sproles is a pimp, but i really hope this online franchise mode works out well.

    was highly disappointed in last year's game, prolly played it like 20 times as opposed to the usual 20 times a day i used to play it... i am in love w/ college 2010 tho and will continue to buy that every year... oh how far i've come since standing in line at midnight for madden sigh i miss those days

    I wasn't impressed with 09, but i got the game for 49.99 with the SI deal, and use to be pretty good at madden, so im hoping I get into this one.

    I played them on the dreamcast and ps2 (recently they were all priced at like 20$ or so when released which was awesome)

    seriously the game play was so fun I liked being able to charge up your tackles and spins and run people the fuck over. It had some realism but nothing overboard it was like the perfect balance for me, the game play was fast and easy to get into (but not too arcade like blitz, which is a awesome game too) but not too slow and boring the way madden is. Love football but cant stand madden honestly.

    lot of ratings i question in the game..hester is a 73 WR? i know he's unproven, but hes proved hes better than Earl Bennett and some other ppl rated higher..he showed way more potential and flashes last year with Kyle fuckin Orton at QB than he should have..hes gonna be ~85 by end of yr

    also Reggie BUsh 78? rly..he was havin pretty sick year before he got hurt, no?...idk they were kinda harsh with a lot of players

    yeah I was so bummed when this happened. I was a huge fan of the 2K sports series, and I thought the NFL 2K games were a lot better than Madden, and I still feel that way. I don't think I've played a football game since they lost the rights :(. I've played madden, but its just seems to be lacking and the games take forevvvver (i know you can shorten the quarters).

    I actually like this years game...Didnt get last years and prolly wont get next year.....Every other year for Madden sounds about right....
