for you to give up your family and all your friends for life? Parameters of this are: you never talk to any of them again, but you remember them etc. They know you got oi them too but know it was for X amount of money. You start a new life over wherever you want with this new money and can make new friends obv. Friends of mine and I have been debating this and have gotten some interesting numbers so far. so wug?

*you can't send money to them. you will literally have 0 contact with them for the rest of your life. -
about 100k

bout tree fiddy
-
no amount of money could convince me to do this.
-
who needs friends and family when you are on a boat?
-
money doesnt create happyness. no amount.

No amount
-
my wife is not for sale. But I would give her away for free
-
Why do people ask stupid questions?
-
yik, there's not gonna be a consensus but interested to hear what people say (especially those that say 'no amount.') and it's not just your family, you're giving up all your friends too
-
There is absolutely no amount of money.

my answer would be no amount...i know i could make new friends, but i'm really close with my sister. get along great with mom & dad...starting to get closer to other sister. love both my brother-in-laws. wouldn't do it... -
In the end family and friends are all you got, would be absolutely pointless to live without them. I'm all about getting rich and getting paid but not in this case.
-
Reread OP, u can make new friends and some (not u and me apparently) wouldn't mind a shitton of $ and start over. Not everyone has irreplacable friends and not everyone has (or likes) their family
-
i love my family but for 1 million euros, i dont mind never seeing them again. I'll just create a random name account on facebook and will add my mom. She will have no clue but will blindly accept my request and I will be able to see all the stuff that goes on in my family on her wall. Deal done.

i'd have no problem making new friends...but i wouldn't do well without my family.

i don't think any amount of money would ever make me stop thinking about them...i'd just be a depressed billionaire. not to mention my wife and bun in the oven. -
No not a chance, you could write me a check right now, and I'd say no without a second thought. That's a shitload of money and all but there is way more to life than dollars.
-
Pretty much the same at this point in my life. Minus the wife and newborn baby, might be able to think of a number, although it would have to be a super high amount.
-
no amount. I wouldn't be able to live with myself.
I thought maybe 1 billion. Then spend the rest of my life giving it all away to those in need, like 20mil a year. But even with all the charity, the impulse to do it would still come from a very selfish place. -
No ammount of money. Even incarcerated there is your family there for you. Couldnt do it.
