How to play poker on iPhone/ iPod Touch

    What you will need.

    Jailbroken iPhone or Touch
    WiFi connection
    VNC Server
    Touchpad Pro with activation

    First step is to download a VNC program. I got mine free from google's website. Install it on the machine you play poker on. open the program and set the network password.

    Next go into installer on your jailbroken phone or touch and download Touchpad Pro. In touchpad enter your IP address as well as the network password that you set. You will now be able to use your phone or touch as a wireless mouse to control your computer.

    Last step is to pay for activation through Touchpad. It gives you the option to buy when you open the program on the phone. Costs $15 shipped through paypal. The activation enables screenview. Now you can see your computer screen on the Phone or touch as you scroll around.

    I've been playing on bodog on my phone in my WiFi network at work. Pretty smooth, little bit of lag but no real problems.

    You can use this to access your home computer for anything any time you are in WiFi.

    Your not as secure as you think....

    "VNC Free Edition and VNC 3 based systems support a simple challenge-response protocol used to verify a password of up to eight characters, supplied by the connecting user. While this avoids exposing the password to attackers as would be the case with pure plaintext protocols such as telnet, the rest of the session is unencrypted and so anything typed into the viewer passes "in the clear" to the server. VNC Free Edition is therefore suitable for use within a local network or secure VPN, but not for general use over untrusted networks, such as the Internet."

    Many simple wifi hacks can read the info being sent via VNC. While you password may be secure...what you do after you login via VNC is not. So whyile they may not get your VNC password...they will get every password you type in after that. You need to setup a VPN connection and then use VNC through that.

    Stay logged on on your home computer and you are never sending your password. Dont really care if you use it. Just letting you know.

    gg productivity!

    what will the IT nerds see as traffic on their servers? will it run into blocked website problems or is all that through the home pc so it doesnt even get noticed?

    oh and how hard is it to see the screen?!

    Easy to see screen. As for IT, not sure. The program is running off your home computer. They should only see the VNC program running.

    and I was waiting for Djam to show up.

    this should work straight over the 3g network when thats released july 11th right? avoiding the server altogether. i wonder what that lag will be like, if different from that setup already, might even be faster.
