They pistol whipped the dude and demanded weed & $$$$ so he's like ok I'll get it outta my safe. He got his handgun outta his safe and then turned around and started blasting. He killed two of the invaders and now the other two are being charged with manslaughter!!!
Yaaaaaaaaaaa boi dat's how we roll up here and I fucking love it!!! You try to take my weed and I'll take your life!!! Now that's freeeeeeeeeedom baby that's real shit.

pretty sure "break into a house and you'll likely get shot" is a bigger crime deterrent than "break into a house and you might go to jail" though. -
Are you in the Emerald Triangle, OP?

Im not a big "gun" guy...but I see no problem if someone breaks into another mans house and is demanding things, that you have to the right to defend......fkn blast em. -

There are home invasions definately but a much larger % of popultaion does not have weapons especially handguns. IMO handguns should be restricted to police/militaryu perosnel only but It certainly is a much different mentality in the US. The"steal from me I have a right to kill you" argument doesnt get much love from this canuck
-
this one either

You don't have the right to respond with violence when someone is threatening your life? -
And I'm sure you'll be just as staunchly anti-gun after some fuckwad breaks into your house, rapes your wife/girlfriend and steals all your shit, right? Moron.

Its pretty obvious that killing them isn't wrong if they enter your home and threaten you with guns to the point that you think they might kill you even if you give them your drugs.

But, hypothetical question, if you know these guys are coming, and the following are your only two options:
1) Not be home, and let them steal your stash.
2) Be home, and kill them.
which would you choose? -
2,1
-
People who put a low enough value on their property that they would rather relinquish it than defend it usually didn't work very hard to get it in the first place.
-
lol, that is a ridiculous statement. and my hypothetical left out all of the more reasonable defense options for a reason.
-
2 without even thinking.

This. I've worked for 24 years to get what I have now, and I'm not going to let anyone come in and help themselves to my shit.
-
Only one of those options gives you the opportunity to make the world a better place.
