Also, I'm pretty sure this is a clever probe by bfactor. Right now, he's taking down everyone's strengths and weaknesses to somehow use them to his advantage

QFMFT
im 6'1, 190 lbs. and musclar, i rep 245 on the bench and can max out at around 285-295 (havent maxed in awhile), as a senior in high school at u of m soccer recruit camp i ran a 4.59 40-yard, im probably around the same speed maybe a bit faster since im a lot stronger now (i still torch young kids on the soccer field). i have also played AAA hockey growing up through middle school and high school so i know how to lay a hit and take one. BUT you are all fucking crazy if you think you can be in position, let alone tackle an nfl running back or even a wide receiver. the only thing i would even remotely be able to do is punt/kick a fg. maybe i could get to the line of scrimmage and if there was a hole get a few yards carrying, but when ray lewis steps into the hole and puts that hit on you, ball on the ground immediately. as for catching a pass, HA. good luck not getting put on your ass at the line of scrimmage by the db. you are all delusional if you think you can do what those dudes do.... its not poker where you can get lucky and beat the best in the world at a hand.... -
5'9" 135. I'd be dead at first contact. Although if I played the entire game at wide receiver and was never touched I might be able to shake loose once or twice before the end of the game due to being a runner and having ridiculous stamina. The one time in my life that I played a semi-serious game of football, I played WR and outplayed a guy who was on our Varsity Football team for 4 years.
-
5'11''---180. Used to bench about 280 when I worked out alot...umm 20 years ago.
Here are 2 critical pieces of information:
Football Experience: At 12 years old I played football and was wide receiver--although it should have been called blocker. I received 1 pass the entire season and was essentially tackled as the ball was being thrown by the qb. That is my entire football resume.
Concussion Experience: Also at age 12--in little league, during warm ups I took a throw to the head and ended up getting a concussion. Pretty sure I would not handle a middle linebacker that well.
Result: Would like to think I could complete 1 or 2 short passes before getting carried off the field in a gurney. -
I would die. First play.

id be out 2-3 months following knee surgery

Projected stats: 1-for-3, 7 yards, 0 INT, 0 SACKS, 3 hurries, probably no injuries.
2. As RB for the Titans, it pretty much depends on how far I get before the first guy makes incidental contact and knocks me down. I'm assuming I wouldn't get too many carries before injury.
Projected stats: 7 carries, 6 yards, 2 lost fumbles, at least one bone broken, probably a leg
3. As WR for the Colts, I might get one or two balls thrown to me in the 4th quarter because the other team would have stopped covering me by then.
Projected stats: 2 targets, 1 catch, 45 yards, 1 TD, injured when the DB who forgot to cover me gives me a playful shove and knocks me down in the end zone
4. As starting LB for Ravens, I would record some half tackles because I throw myself on the back of a guy being tackled by someone else.
1.5 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 INT, injured by RB when he pancakes me on way to end zone

1. At QB I think I could probably go about 20/40 to maybe 25/40 so around 250-300 yards. I'm not very accurate, but my recievers would be pretty good, so would just throw near them and they would go get it, and probably wouldn't get picked off much cuz of my arm strength, so maybe 1 interception at the most or 2 if I got unlucky and had a tipped pass or something.
Edited By: bfactor Oct 6th, 2010 at 12:04 AM
2. At RB I'm not very fast, but I am 6'1 230, so I could probably get around 100 yards or give or take maybe 20 since I'd be bigger than most backs, at 230 lbs I'd be almost fb sized and about 10-20 lbs bigger than most nfl halfbacks, so would probably be pretty tough to bring down at first contact, would probably drive through the first couple guys up the middle to grind out 2-3 yards per carry. Maybe 1 fumble but probly not since superior size compared to most nfl halfbacks, so since the lighter weight ones seem to have more of the fumbling problems I'd be more the opposite due to being bigger than most of them, so maybe 1 fumble tops probly 0.
3. At WR would probably be my worst position since I'm slow, but at 6'1 I'd be taller than most of the CB's so would probably catch 5 or 6 of the 10 passes due to being way taller than the CB's which are usually only like 5'8 to 5'11. Would maybe get injured or have to play through some pain if I got hit really hard by a linebacker since some of them are heavier than me, but most would be roughly equal size/weight to me so probly wouldn't be too much of an issue. Overall would probly get around 50 to 100 yards depending on variance.
4. At linebacker would probably be the best position for me being 6'1 230, so would probably get around 10-15 tackles and assist Ray on a few and get maybe 1 or 2 sacks depending how good the opponent 0-line was.

b...are you in shape at all?? you would fucking die on the field. you MIGHT beable to take one hit from a linebacker. you have to be a giant level..ther eis no possible way you could complete anything besides a screen pass without 100% luck

Edited By: JRoth15 Oct 5th, 2010 at 11:55 PMI don't think I can do what any NFL WR can do. However, I think I could get off a jam at least a few times to have a play on a ball...and no matter how athletic a DB is, making up a foot of height + reach is still very hard to do--especially with Peyton's pinpoint accuracy.Originally Posted by shallowcal

I agree on every other point besides the WR, though. -

lol at your height and weight everyone is saying. Someone said they were 6 foot 1 and 180lbs chubby?
Well...mine are...5'7''...230....pffflol Holy fuckin shit i am a total lardass!!! When i sit down i have sweat under my boobies.
Based on that......I would literally die..I would probably pull a hamstring warming up.

Def 100% serious, not rly sure why you think I would be sooooo terrible at it, I'm 6'1 230 so that's pretty big and I have watched football since I was like 4 years old so I understand the game pretty well, def would be at least semi decent imo.

didnt see smirk one. you made me type a goddamn response. fuck i should really read things.
level or not, its been said everyone would be insanely terrible at it. -
Huh??
Dude... I'm smirking because I was literally smirking in real life thinking about racking up some stats in an nfl game, cuz it's like awesome/pleasurable to visualize myself having a semi-decent game, which is what I honestly think would happen. I wasn't smirking as in "I'm joking/levelling", I was being dead serious. Lol @ you misinterpreting my smirks. I def would do fairly decent given my size and how much football I have watched in the past 2 decades, not rly sure what your problem is why you are picking on me. Not rly sure why everyone else thinks their stats would be so horrible like no pass completions, no yardage etc, I mean I guess it would be pretty hard cuz the NFL are pretty good since most of the NFL teams are better than even the top NCAA team except maybe the bottom few NFL teams, but still, it's not like it would be impossible or anything to do semi-decent if you focused hard and knew you were doing it as just a one-time kind of thing, I mean c'mon, how hard could it be? -
you gave a completion % of 50 fucking percent. you said youve been around football for that long and i really have to expalin why im picking on you (and i only said something because of that) i really dont know what to tell you. there are PLENTY of STARTING pro qbs that have a less than 50% in there careers. but you could go in RIGHT NOW and have a game where you throw that well (even tho you said your not accurate)
get real. like i said your either a giant level right now (and you got me to respond again) or your just as delusional as sooners is with concussions. -

Great reading comprehension, though I'm not surprised by the way you interpret political statements...Oh, okay, I didn't see the last line. Fine, I'll revise. And oh by the way, the jerk store called and they're all out of you.Originally Posted by BigGunX

Since we are running 40 pass plays my stats would be:
3-for-27, 9 yards, 8 INT, 25 hurries, 13 sacks, 12 fumbles, 8 lost
(I subtracted the 13 sacks from the 40 pass plays to get 27 attempts. Good enough, out-of-stock jerk store shelf item?) -
3 for 27??? and 8 interceptions LOL wtf, are you retarded? How fucking bad do you suck that you could throw that bad of stats in one game LOL
-
I think I'm in better shape than half of 41-year old American guys, basically average. I can throw a football decently in a game of backyard catch, probably above average accuracy, below average distance. Overall... average.
That being said, average for a 41-year old guy is SOOOOOOOO far below NFL QB standards that when I complete my first 3 yard screen pass to Addai, it would probably be the highlight of the evening. I'm not sure if you are clear on how good these guys are. -
crap on all cept maybe linebacker, if offensive line was on there than i would be able to survive
6 4
250ish
dunno
dunno but im slow
got a beer gut but strong arms and legs -
Dude 3 completions seriously think how bad that is that's like way worse than any qb has ever done on tv in the history of football maybe and 8 interceptions wouldn't that also be an all time record or something, you would have to have such insane bad variance and just no throwing ability at all, I mean c'mon. Maybe I a tiiiiny bit overestimated by abilities since I never played tackle football before, but at touch football in middle school I was like 85% completion percentage maybe 1 interception per week and we played 5 days a week cuz at lunchbreak every single school day and I was picked as QB every time cuz of how good my arm is cuz I can throw like 45 to 50 yards which is at least avg for NFL qb, except for maybe the strongest throwers I guess can throw like 60 yards on hail mary when they try hard. I dunno maybe at absolute horrible luck and also getting super stage frighted by the huge audience maaaaybe could do 15/40 if I fucked up real bad and like 4 or 5 picks, but doubt it probly more like 20/40 and 1 or 2 picks I would think most likely outcome for me, like 80% chance of roughly that kind of stats and then 10% chance of onlye like 10-15/40 if I messed up super bad and like 10% chance of 25+/40 if I had a little positive variance.

you would survive on the offensive line, but you would be on your ass the whole game.. and the QB would quit/die
-
Ryan Leaf 1-for-15 vs the Chiefs tho. I am pretty sure he was in better shape than I am right now.
-
I dunno I never saw that game but the variance for that must have been like all-time worst variance in nfl history, like the way when you win the superlotto but in the opposite direction, so the biggest negative variance. Plus thats only 15 attempts, on 40 attempts just LOL at anyone throwing less than like ~10 completions unless they have down syndrome or something, I would say super horrible variance maybe I go 12/40 or something even that seems to low even at worst variance ever, and on avg more like 18/40-20/40 something like that around and sometimes considerably better if I ever got good variance if my recievers played super good sometimes

QB - every play I would look at which WR has the most space between a defender, take the snap and throw it his way isntantly. Maybe complete 5 passes out of 40 for like 25 yards. slim chance of injury
RB - Follow blockers, maybe gain a yard, maybe lose 20. Get hit, hard. Next play run away from the QB so he can not give me the ball again.
WR - Get manhandled by the CB every play, never make it beyond 5 yards past the line of scrimmage
LB - get run over attempting first tackle, decide to play the rest of the game as far away from the other team as possible. Probably hide in our endzone or something.
Be realistic guys, anyone who says they can take a hit from an NFL player, and jump back up is insane. I would be so scared of getting creamed going for the ball, there is no way I catch it. Especially when its being thrown so much harder then I'm used to. -
Sigh... lol, oh wells I tried. My leveling abilities just aren't what they once were :(
